The Kanila Resort

We are deeply dissatisfied with our recent stay at the property. The experience was below basic acceptable standards, and I feel compelled to highlight the issues we faced. The blanket and pillow covers had visible fungus signs which we asked them to change but new ines also was the same. Had to ask for basic amenities - like AC remote was not available at room, Television was non-functional for 4–5 hours. Despite repeated follow-ups and arguments, the issue was unresolved until we were finally shifted to another room. The room had water bottles but no glasses. A kettle was provided, and got request sugar, milk, and tea bags upon request. The milk powder provided was expired! This experience was extremely disappointing and inconvenient.

Stayed at The Kanila Resort for a day and had an amazing experience! The place was spotless, the swimming pool was the highlight, and the food was both delicious and generously served. Service was warm and attentive, making the stay even better. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

The best place visited till date. The food was awesome. Highly recommend. Very spacious with a huge pool. 5 Stars

. The breakfast was very limited. The breads are cold taken out of the freeze. No boiled eggs . The people who were serving the breakfast was not aware of the menu. When I tried to give them a feedback during my check out one of the hotel staff was almost shouting on me. What type of service is this??They don't deserve to be listed under any booking platform.The foods extremely costly.......money wasted having stayed over there. Blacklist this resort.

I was there for 2 nights, the property was on average and the food was also average, the staff was good but the management is very bad as there was a swimming pool which i wanted to use, but there was a frog on the pool and there were also scraps in the pool which they didn't clean the same, this was really very disappointing.

Room was very unhygienic inspite of booking premium plus. Pillow covers, towels were dirty. Requested to change them but other ones were also dirty as if they don't have clean covers. Bath tub was not clean.

Kanila resort is a place to enjoy peaceful and relaxing nature. They serve good food including breakfast. We had nice stay.

The food is very good, staff is very helpful only the room was quiet dusty.

Property is good and vast. Staff was l cooperative and always was looking forward for customer's satisfaction. The highlight is the cook mr. Arun shetty, too good. All food he made and served was direct from stove. No cold or stale food. His moon g dal halwa in pure ghee was awesome. Swimming pool is big and very well maintained. Morning view from cottages is serene and beautiful. A must visit place.

Perfect getaway from a busy life well mannered staff, good food, clean accommodation, safe property, great view, and overall excellent service.

It’s a nice decent resort. Nothing extraordinary but good enough to rest and enjoy the nature. If they can serve lunch from 12:30pm onward s it will be better.

The resort itself is big & has a lot of parking space so if you’re coming with car or multiple cars dont worry it has a lot parking space. Rooms/cottages itself is clean. A kil but in pricey side. But, the pool omg! the size of pool is pretty huge. The food was great. Fyi dont book the pure package thali food. Its not that great. Order from thwir menu. They have restaurants. The room service was excellent. The staff was polite. The view is amazing. Choose the brekafast included option while choosing room. The breakfast they serve is excellent. With great quantity.

Location approach is terrible, food is average, no tea kettle at room, staff is good, pool is good but loud speaker at night is a nuisance. No one follows pool rules. Neither hotel is interested to enforce it. Plantation maintained well. There is no indoor games facility. Only badminton, football, pool, rain dance. Overall a average resort.

Pros- hygienic and secure, service was good specially by sagar, thankyou for being there to help us. In room dining and helpful staff. Green lawns and big mountains made our stay peaceful. Swimming pool was clean and maintained. Our cottage room was well equipped with clean bed sheets and linens. Cons- location is a bit far away but reaching there is not too hectic. Food was delicious but few options available. Wi-fi connection was not good.

Simple and nicely designed property. Staff very polite and courteous. Delicious food served and in ample quantity.
