Very beautiful and cozy hotel. The food is very nice. The staff is responsive.The owner is very helpful and cooperative. If any one has interest in tracking then this hotel is definitely a treat. so go for it.

Stay was extremely comfortable and Peaceful, only thing which was disturbing it is not connected to road, you need to park the car on the road and track upheels to 1km on the mountain to reach the location. if you can do this, has best view.

The property offers a beautiful mountain view, making the stay truly refreshing. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and felt healthy—definitely a highlight of the experience. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We stayed for 3 days here and it was so good! Love every bit of it, starting from the trek which had amazing views , the hotel which was beautiful and the food which was absolutely delicious. The hospitality offered by the staff and Inder who is the owner was also unmatched. If you are looking for an offbeat place where you can just unwind and enjoy the view of the forest & Himalayas and don't mind the uphill trek then you will love the place.❤️

Overpriced...It is difficult to reach at your hotel.. need to walk around 700 m in the forest trail with some difficult path...with small children and elder people this hotel is not recommended..although views from the hotel are good..and rooms are also spacious and comfortable..food is average and prepared on demand with no buffet system for breakfast.. overall an average stay experience..

However, reaching the hotel requires a trek of at least 1 km, during which luggage is transported via ponies. This adds a sense of adventure but may not be ideal for everyone. The location itself is picturesque and peaceful, making it a great spot for groups of friends or 2-3 couples traveling together. However, for a single couple, the remoteness and lack of connectivity during the trek (no network coverage) may raise concerns about safety and convenience. The owner is hospitable and ensures a warm stay, but I would recommend this property more for group trips to fully enjoy its unique location and ambiance. For couples traveling alone, exploring other options closer to the main road or with easier access might be a better choice.

the stay was extremely nice and so was the staff. they were very helpful throughout our stay, and also helped us in local sightseeing etc. the food was also great!😊

Our stay at the himalayan deodar was a fantastic experience. The view was superb, and the staff went out of their way to welcome us, carry our luggage up the steep slope, bring extra blankets and care for us. Thanks to all of them. The breakfast and dinner were also very tasty.

Food- just the way you want comfort- you feel like home people- you have the best people around to serve you with pure heart view- it’s breathtaking over all experience- you ask for something and they will do the best to get you that, what else do you want when you are out on a holiday.

The proper location is set amid-st rustic village backdrop with a truly majestic scenery around, excellent hospitality.

The property is new rooms extremely clean hygienic host is warm welcoming and u get home food. Overall i had good stay just to mention here that to reach this property you have to climb uphill rocky terrian for 40 mins which becomes difficult especially when u have arrived after long driving one wants to rest not hike so consider this in mind that location is bful but be prepared to hike as u reach and way is natural foresty full of stones so wear sport shoes. Not recommended for senior citizens or anyone who has knee issue or climbing issue. Many of us want to crash on bed as we reach our hotels but when u know u have to hike for 40 mins to reach it's bit exhausting and tiring. But if u up for scenic natural hiking it's great place to be. Not recommended for senior citizens.

Its very satisfied and happy stay. Food was very good. Peaceful location and clean rooms. Very helpful and coordinating owners. First time i have seen owners are doing cordination about to reach. Want to plan again with my friends.

Before i begin with the feedback, please note that there is no network in kanataal. So, as soon as you make a booking please contact hosts. Hosts are genuinely very helpful. If you are going by your own vehicle, make sure that you reach this place before it gets dark as you will have to park your vehicle and trek for 600-700m. That trek is not difficult, its scenic and takes you to a beautiful hotel. Host even sent help to carry our luggage. Rooms were extremely clean and well maintained, newly built. Food was good.
