Dear Shatabdi Ma'am, Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to clarify a few points for transparency: Our property is clearly listed as a Homestay (BnB), not a hotel, on all booking platforms including your MakeMyTrip voucher. Regarding staff behaviour — our team only requested you not to smoke inside the room as all rooms are strictly non-smoking to avoid triggering the fire alarm. Despite repeated polite requests, smoking continued. Also, your request for a 2:30 PM checkout couldn’t be allowed since new guests were due; our staff still offered you to wait in the lounge area. On food, our menu prices are clearly displayed and remain reasonable. Despite your comments, you dined with us for two dinners and one lunch, which indicates overall satisfaction during your stay. We appreciate genuine feedback but expect it to be fair and factual. We remain committed to offering a homely, comfortable experience to all our guests. Warm Regards Jagmohan Nagpal

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We wish you had informed our staff during your visit if there was any unpleasant smell in the room. Our team is always available and would have gladly addressed it immediately—whether by refreshing the room, spraying an air freshener, or offering an alternate room. Guest comfort is our top priority, and we’re always ready to help. You mentioned the room felt congested and suffocating. The Family Room you booked is over 400 sq. ft. in size and includes two large windows for ample natural light and ventilation. It is one of our most spacious options and is regularly appreciated by families for its comfort. We’re sorry to hear it felt otherwise to you. As for the building being old—we fully agree, and in fact, we take pride in that. This is a heritage property, nearly 85 years old, and it has been carefully renovated and maintained to offer a unique experience that reflects Shimla’s colonial charm. Many guests value this character and ambiance over the generic feel of newer properties. That said, we respect that preferences differ. Regards Jagmohan Owner
