The Highlands

My review is as follows: " The rooms though well furnished and sufficiently large don't have any window and hence claustrophobic.I therefore took on additional payment a room with awindow on first floor. Everything else was satisfactory except the TV won't work and the bathroom had a stink which would not go despite efforts of the otherwise helpful and courteous staff. I would not advise people to stay there till these defects are taken care of."

The hotel was nice but there was a very bad smell coming from my room and TV was not working properly. Can say it is lil bit expensive hotel

good location, laxman jhula is walking distance. many of the best cafe are just walking distance. area not crowded. clean rooms, clean bathrooms, overall I had a comfortable stay

Good to go and food on roof top cafe is a must try

We had to ask for towels, thrice..the washroom was stinking so bad and even the towel provided was just one. Not a very pleasant stay.

location is fine. food and hospitality is worst. non-veg food and alcohol was serving it's mentioned for pure veg. there is no transparency. I will 0 out of 5 rating for food.

Family room was decent in size but no window. Washroom was neat & clean. Staff behaviour is good. Food was awesome at rooftop cafe. Ambience is great. Overall good experience.

The hotel is situated close to Laxman Jhula. the rooms were spacious, clean. Cordial behaviour of staff was another reason to like the hotel. The wifi and tv were not working. They fixed both on reporting the issue. clean towels were not provided initially. stale utensils were lying at the corridor for many days.

Service was good but management was poor. Their cafe was also disappointing, slow and a lot of poor Management.

I had an utterly disappointing stay at this hotel. The entire night was spent without electricity, leaving the room dark and uncomfortably warm. The washroom was in a deplorable state, reeking of a foul odor that made it nearly unusable. To top it off, the receptionist was shockingly rude, dismissing my complaints with arrogance and offering no solutions. Avoid this place at all costs!

My stay in the The Highlands on 9th Oct is very good. The location of the hotel is very nearer to Lakshman Jhula and very convenient for us to move any where in Rishikesh. The food is superb and the ambiance, service is top notch.

It was nice and comfortable .staff was cooperative. Hygeine wise superb.

The room was organised and everything was in its place but not clean. It was smelling of urine. The sheets and bed cover were stained and the toilet mop had been left behind in the bathroom.

Very polite staff and location is superb. They upgraded my room also as there was room available free of cost. highly recommended budget friendly
