The Ghar Boutique Stay

We had a stay planned for 2 N/3D. I've already stayed here twice at this property but this time we faced a couple of issues: 1. Their staff usually knock on the door for breakfast orders, which they claim they did at 9 when we were probably asleep and woke up around 9:30. Last order time for breakfast is 10:30, and we texted or called around 10:45 wherein we were refused the order and later given 1-2 options which we didn't opt for because we were planning to leave for the day. So, just a breakfast call by the staff which is a very regular thing for them would have helped. Given that I had already been there, it would be natural to remember the timings, it somehow slipped. 2. We had asked for 2 towels and got 1 hour later. The staff mentioned being short on laundry because of the weather as clothes weren't getting dry, but since it's expected for them to be aware of the local weather, it was uncalled for. For the entire stay, we had to use 1 single towel. 3. We ordered chilly chicken and it was too uncooked to an extent as to be not chewable at all. Not to mention, the food is good here: so this was not expected. Just want to end up with a note, the staff is humble and proactive but somehow it got a bit inconvenient for us given these petty matters. Would still recommend the place if these things are worked upon.

great stay , difficult entry tough for family

It's a fabulous place, very neat and aesthetic. The staff was very helpful.

If you're looking to find some solace in the hustle bustle of manali on vacation days, this has to be your go to stay! it's built out pretty well, with beautiful furniture and setting overall. The staff was quite responsive and the food delicious. We had booked the dormitory room - the walking space was a bit less and we had to share a washroom with 2 other rooms. If you're more than 3 people, go for a bigger room instead (we checked that out too and it is worth the price.

It has great views and amazing staff who helped us at every step, also provided us with complimentary breakfast.

The property has exquisite design. Incredibly beautiful and fresh interior with a stunning view of the mountains outside the window the property's one significant disadvantage is that, due to its hilltop location, there is no suitable road or even set of stairs, so you must physically trek to the door. Very poor response and no help after booking; not recommended for families

There is no water in the hotel and they don’t inform this during check in and then after you check in they deny refund and tell you that you have to stay without water. It is far away from the main mall road and a 10 minute steep walk from the road covered with black ice where you are bound to slip and hurt yourself. The owner is very uncooperative and later denies all problems.
