I stayed at BackpackStack Ujjain for 4 days as a solo traveler, and it was one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had in Ujjain. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about making your stay comfortable. They go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need, whether it’s local tips, transport guidance, or just good conversation. The hostel itself is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for backpackers. The dorms are spacious with comfortable beds, lockers for your belongings, and clean washrooms. The common area is a great spot to relax, meet fellow travelers, and plan your day. There's also a rooftop space that’s perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Ujjain. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. It’s close to all the major temples and ghats, so I could easily explore the spiritual and cultural side of Ujjain on foot or with short rickshaw rides. I also loved the vibe — very relaxed, yet social. I met some amazing people from different parts of the country and world, and it made the experience even more memorable. If you're a solo traveler or backpacker visiting Ujjain, I highly recommend BackpackStack. It’s more than just a place to stay . Can’t wait to come back!

My stay at Backpackstack was really nice. The place was very clean and hygienic. The food tasted just like home. The owner was very kind and friendly, so it didn’t feel like I was in a hotel it felt like home. The other girls in the dorm were also polite and friendly. It's the best place for solo travellers.

I'm a traveller to visit different cities here I come the interiors was very nice colours & other things was beautiful. The hostel is same as we go into gostops or in hostellers so overall experience was good The plus point is behaviour of the manager gaurav is very friendly & the hygiene & maintenance of the property is satisfactory. They are well maintained..so good option if you are solo travelers or come with your friends or family The negative point is far away from city no uber in the city so you have to choose the rapido to visit the main market ( opposite of the mahakal mandir ) I love the stay ...so ho ahead guys to visit this place ✨😄

Properly clean, WiFi works great, all facilities good. Garvit will help you make your plans for visiting temples or other sightseeing around Ujjain.

I had booked a queen room for myself. Garvit and team were very kind and helpful. The room is a little small but hygienic which was very important for me. Transportation was easily accessible from this location.

Very nice stay, just amazing person garvit & his mom, never feels like you’re in a unknown place, they make you feel very comfortable, rooms are very clean hygienic, food is also very yummy
