Thamarai Villa Cottage

We loved our stay at this place. Its just opposite to SIMS park- the whole of Coonoor is in and around it. The place is very well maintained and it has an amazing garden of tropical fruits, veggies and lots of floral plants. The Villa is just cozy, the furniture, beds and all are so comfy, bathrooms are spacious and neatness of the whole place is too good there is a small kitchen with basic amenities just in case! There are menus of all the restaurants nearby, and if you want to go to any of them they are like a 5-10 mins walk away. There are 2 pets Timmy and Tommy, who are very well disciplined and friendly (I Am scared of dogs but I grew fond of them in no time). Stephen our caretaker was very helpful. I stayed here with my family, the accommodation was very neat and clean. The walkable distance from Sims park, coonnor. 4-6 people can comfortably stay here and park 2 cars. Not too much space outside the cottage to move around. Break was very simple and it was home food. Definitely can recommend those who are looking for a decent stay and one who spends the time in a cottage only during nights.

Both the host and the caretaker were extremely helpful and we totally enjoyed our stay. Though it was a very short stay, we had the best time. All the needs were attended and i am very happy because they made all arrangements for my 11 months old baby. Would recommend this place to anyone any day!

This was an amazing trip. Everything was good over there. Property, ambiance and location was relaxing and blissful. Staff behavior and services were satisfying. Room was clean and cozy. Food quality was nice. Well-maintained property. I would like to recommend this property to others.

Great place to stay which is nearby to the visiting spots and close to the main road. Hospitality of the host is great. Highly recommended for family and groups.

The cottage is clean, has green surroundings and very old (made in 1939). The care taker is very helpful, breakfast is good. So over all friendly environment.

It was a really good stay, we had a very wonderful time there, there was Hills view from the garden and everything was nice. The caretaker was very friendly, I can absolutely recommend others.

The place was great. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was kind. And for anything we needed there was kalai. He also prepared a delicious dinner for us.

Great personal attention by Mr Steven. Allowed our pets to freely play. Great location.

Cottage is suitable for family and also for a group of friends, care taker was very plea-sent and homely food available.
