Does this kind of host exist? shocking welcome received from puran thakur, the host owner. Impolite individual, unwelcoming attitude, seems like having anger management problem.

Sometimes some guests appears traveling with rudeness and degrading attitude and pollute peaceful environment and reacts with such type of voice showing their level of being inhuman who blame other side for their self misconduct and misbehavior like mr ram mitra, sonia saxena and some other provoked people are doing hope they travel with peace and love in future and avoid spreading bad vibes of rudeness and disrespect wherever they go god bless them with peace and love having respect to others

Amazing little place a little far from the city centre. Very hospitable hosts. They were very caring as one of them called me late at night to make sure where i was.

Totally money waste

Please don’t book this hotel because this is not a hotel this is a garbage and their service is too much bad and their owner is very rude ohh god my friends can’t handle this type of person.

Oho I m extremely sorryFor any inconvenience but , what we faced with these guests group was under shadow but after such review please see:-1 Room booked and we are supposed to provide free wood for bonefire ( not possible as it's Paid by us to provide for guests) they didn't want to pay 2) We respect and welcome guests from our heart and try our best to make their comfortable and memorable trip for which they spent huge 3) Above guests played trick by booking room for 3 ( in fact they were 4 , 4th guy was introduced as cab driver for whom extra bed was asked and we denied to allow a driver with guests in same room for safety reasons they insisted and on settlement extra blankets were given) 4) In the one guest was trying to involve himself with other group ( ल़डकि को आंख मार रहा था) which was opposed by staff 5) Since their own behavior was objectionable that's why I'd आधार कार्ड was not taken by them I could post तय copy of it but I don't want to get to their level 6) Next morning it was seen during checkout it was seen the complete floor was wet as they bomitted/ puked after drinking excess and room was completely destroyed 7) I m shocked after such acts how one can quote such reviews 8) Garbage booked, came and tried to make the same here9) The guests who come with the mindset of doing noise trying to be over smart( 3 booked+ 1 extra friend shown driver) they feel inconvenience because we try to control them and reactions are on reviews If such type of guests are restricted, the result is here , they have an easy way to react on reviews I m not supposed to use hard word but I'm forcedRegardsThakur

Best homestay

I stayed one night and wished i could stay longer. Clean rooms, best food, beautiful view and warm host, this is one of the highlights of my trip. I suggest everyone to go to this place, you will not regret.

A place to remember

I have been to this place more than 4 times in a span of just 1. 5 years. Love their location. It's in kasol yet a little away from all the crowd and noise and the best part is that their place is just so aesthetic. It's my favorite place to be. Uncle and aunt y both are very nice people and extremely helpful.

If you're looking for a hotel this place is not for you. It's a very nice home stay, the view from the room is amazing. However some people may find it difficult to reach the hotel because it's on a high surface so it's like a small trek. The caretaker is always available. The bathroom is not attached but it was right outside. Rooms were small but cute. Overall I liked it would definitely recommend if you want to try something new.

The caretaker Mr. Hriday will take the best care of you. Very humble and entertaining guy. Best for a budget stay with great view and good location as all cafes are just 5 mins walk away. You can also avail discount at nearest cafe if you stay at Thakur Cottage Homestay. Just make sure to keep it low key at night as it’s a place to enjoy peace and you will not be allowed to party loud.
