Swiss Wood Hotel

Room was good. We booked panorama view room. Swiss wood hotel is 2km away from mall road.

Rooms are not spacious which we had booked, we have paid extra for upgrade

Nice staff. Specially Sani in restaurant.

Everything is good and situated at a good location.

Unplanned last minute trip took us to Manali for 4 days. After checking reviews on various sites we decided to go ahead with Swiss wood hotel. Our package includes breakfast and WiFi complementary. Hospitality- overall was good. Mix of staff . Some super warm and friendly. Some arrogant or lack of communication skills. Food- the pain part of the entire trip. From the menu, half of the things were never available, specifically tandoor- items, limited menu. Food quantity and taste was good. Breakfast menu was kind of repetitive Bkoz during my stay fried pasta was there everyday which was kind of oily. Secondly coming to chicken masala -recommended by the chef was promised to be served with boiled eggs however when served it was scrambled egg mixed in the gravy. Asking for tawa roti due to food poisoning- we were repeatedly denied as they coaxed to take tandoor roti. When complained to the hotel manager finally got tawa roti. Overall food - bit too oily but taste of food was overall okay. The best part of the stay was the housekeeping guys- very warm, friendly and well mannered staff. The rooms were cleaned time to time and the best part of it was they had always a smile on the face. Location-away from the Hustling Mall Road, absolute gorgeous view of the snow clad mountains, it was amazing. Transportation wise - local buses, autos are there. But best is to rent a bike or Scotty to roam around. Overall - decent stay, management needs to work on the better kitchen staff.

Hotel staff said they won't provide the rooms and they are full and MakeMyTrip books them without checking the inventory. Later when MakeMyTrip people called them they changed and said the door of a room is not working that is why they can not provide the room. MakeMyTrip refunded but we were left without a room.

Great location comfortable room, but food quality not good, the variety of food in buffet is limited. No elevator.

Breakfast was delicious and service was fine. Service was excellent.
Not so clean but good service. Room was spacious with well maintained bathrooms.

Management is so nice and polite . Service is good and best part is that everyone can trust hotel staff for anything . Nice memories in hotel

The room is small size and has nice view of valley. Though there is smell from bathroom all the time. Service is OK.

Pros. - Hotel Location is Good. Views are good from hotel rooms but no balconies to enjoy. Hotel is neat & clean. - Allow Early Check-IN . Cons. - Hot water only available between 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM and then on request also it was not provided. Very Silly reasons were provided for not to provide Hot water which is basic need where temp is below zero degree . - Room Service is too poor. Drinking water was provided after one hour despite several reminders to reception as well as Room Service. Also, they do not have the facility to server Breakfast & Dinner in the room . - Discotheque is not working. On request, we were told that "it will start in 20 minutes and will be informed by intercom in your room". No one informed us but after an hour when we asked they told " Sorry Sir, we cannot start it now as the discotheque time is till 9:00PM only". This type of Cheating is done by Mr. Sonu Mahajan ( Hotel Manager of Swiss wood). - Bedding is also Not clean at all. Quilt has blood stains and Reception/room service denies to change it then at last only cover was changed. - Rooms are Noisy due to near to the road & Diesel Generator located near to the rooms towards mall road . - Room bell was ringed in the early morning by the hotel staff for unknown reasons . - Dental Kit is not provided. You need to buy it from outside . Overall, this hotel does not meet the 3-star hotel compliance and other very good options are available in this budget. Not recommended at all to anyone.

The place was nice hotel staff was very supportive and ready to serve Hotel was clean and services were up to the mark. The only place were you need to pull up your socks is the breakfast more efforts had to be made to make it best for pleasant stay

Good hotel to stay excellent staff sonu & sachin on front desk are very help full love to stay great view from hotel 1. 5 km far away from mall road easy to reach to hotel good location good food rooms are clean so I suggest this hotel is goo to stay

We it was a nice experience view of the lovely mountains from the windows added to its beauty. The service was good the staff was at 24 7 service. Location was nice ATM's available facilities were good we had a good experience.

It was easy to locate, right next to Naggar Road. Rooms were clean, though a bit noisy being right next to the highway. Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was polite and service was good. Overall good value for money.

Rooms are attached to kitchen so too much noise and there is no ventilation for the room like window or something. I missed the pleasure which I was expecting And ground was not also clear ... They do not have pick and drop service too

Need to pay attention on room services. Other things like cleaness of room hotel facilities were on very good in conditions. Location of hotel also good, other thing in food was so tastey and yummy so I recommend to other people's also.

Location of hotel is very good as far as atmosphere is concerned but no local conveyance like auto etc is available nearby to go to market area or bus stand and so. The hotel should have at least pick-up & drop facilities.

Good service and overall hotel. The location of this hotel is very good. Views of this hotel outside are very beautiful. Design of this hotel very beautiful. And interior of the room is very nice am very enjoy.

Location is awesome ... Staff behavior and nature really deserves appreciation food is very tasty and this hotel make my trip complete and lastly the services are good and breakfast is awesome.
