Extremely Poor Stay Experience | Aafa Garden Rooms (Stayzy), Bangalore

We stayed here for a night on our way back home from Gokarna. We had booked the room a week in advance and reached around 12:30 AM. The reception person was present even at that hour, which we appreciated — he guided us to the room and was polite and helpful. However, that’s where the positives ended. The room quality was extremely poor — the fan was very slow, the room and bathroom smelled bad, bed and pillows also terrible conditions and overall, the maintenance was terrible. It felt more like an unregulated lodge than a proper hotel. What made it worse was that the receptionist kept asking how much I paid and seemed disappointed that I might’ve gotten a lower price — I honestly felt that’s why he gave us such a poor room. Even after informing him about the fan issue, he said “this is the only room available”. It was very late, and since we were traveling with family, we had no option but to stay. Overall: Poor hygiene, poor ventilation, bad odor, and no basic upkeep. Definitely not recommended for families or even solo travelers looking for a safe and clean night stay.
