The room is very nice & cozy. The owners take great care if the place & both the room & the washroom are clean. You’ll have to walk uphill to reach the homestay but its worth the stay.

soloIf you book they will neither pick up your phone nor give you your location, if you book offline they will charge you a lot of money which gets caught by the cab drivers I had booked for 2 days and some of their offline posts were uploaded due to which they started torturing me mentally and when I received a response on it they threatened me and told me to leave homestay

We have nothing to say to a guest who misbehaves with our lady members of my family. He was fully intoxicated and used foul language with my daughters. This was the reason we had to ask him to check out of our Homestay. Yes we had to threaten him to be reported to the law if he repeated the same behaviour.

The owner of the homestay is very good. Location of the home stay is a walking distance from mall road. We got food from the homestay as like as the home made food. The behaviour of the host and their hospitality is remarkable. The room and the toilet was properly cleaned. But the room and the size of the bed is small.

Excellent hospitality by the host, they are very helpful l too and concern so much in rain time they carried me until the drop zone, home made food very nice tasty. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was very reasonable price compare to hotel stay, home stay ka the best. I will go again if i get chance.

Only the room quality and location of room was good, but the huge problem is regarding the water supply in washroom. For toilet and bathing (like no. 1 and no. 2 ) need water, they provide sometime water that comes with very low pressure and dirty water, water only comes when you call the owner. It means bathroom was only for showoff

Water is supplied 24 X 7. There might have been some problem with the tap. During your stay you called me twice regarding the water and even we had a brief talk about the water supply in Darjeeling. Both the times I personally took your call and the problem was resolved. After these 2 occasions you never called again regarding water supply. Even though we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused only to you as there were other guests also during your stay without any complaint regarding this issue. Thank you

Nice homestay at a great location and with free wifi

Smriya homestay is only at 10 minutes walking distance from the new mahakal market. The host is very humble and hospitable. They provide free wifi. So i was able to work online during my stay. I had a nice experience staying here.

soloThis is a great homestay in darjeeling. It is relatively close to the mall although the final stretch is a bit steep but that’s expected in a hill station. The rooms are clean and have all necessary equipment. The owners are warm and welcoming, and they cook wonderful food. Give this place a try next time you visit darjeeling.
