Smiling Sparrows - A 2 Bedroom Luxury Villa

First things first. The villa is superb as seen in the pictures. It’s perfect. Since one cannot experience the ambience and the smell through pictures, the experience is unhappy. The main gate is blocked by parked bikes most of the time. One has to really negotiate a difficult passage. Easy for boys but for ladies and elders tough one. The road to Villa can be only in an Auto Rikshaw or a two wheeler. The ride from main roads is around 500 meters. Since villa is located in the old city, some places around the villa can be covered by walk, only if you have patience of walking in a small lane with the stinky smell. And to have lunch or dinner no good hygienic restaurants nearby. Plenty to write on my two days stay, most of it unhappy ones. Care takers of the Villa are good, humble and available all the time. The utensils in the kitchen are stinky smell ( Egg Smell ), the kitchen area stinks, we had tough time having dinner. It’s very difficult for a Pure Vegetarian Family. We had tough time eating breakfast too, lucky we were we had to checkout early on second day for our onward journey. This place is strictly No No for a Pure Vegetarian Family.

There is very little i can say about them that isnt written already. Attention to detail, in the heart of the old city, bhagwati and durga ji, lovely home food catered to our taste, spic and span. I really hope smiling sparrows becomes a chain across the country in the future, if not, a lot of properties should learn from them on how exactly to run a serviced property. Absolutely no half measures adopted! loved my conversation with one of the owners, bruno during breakfast. All passion !

We had a lovely stay. Special mentions to bhagwatiji (the caretaker) and his wife for being of such great service and help and kudos to bruno (who was constantly in touch and v responsive) and up-en for having such a lovely villa. Though the location could be intimidating at 1st but you get used to it, it is a very safe area and very well connected to the city palace and lake pichola and major restaurants. They help arrange autos for you as well so it isn’t a hassle. The villa is well equipped and really aesthetic. Wishing them all the luck )

What an amazing place to stay. Villa is beautiful. Bhagwatilal & his wife made an amazing breakfast for us. Such an relaxing space.

The house is located at a very central location with city place and market at walking distance. The place the beautiful it gives a ethnic vibe with all modern amenities being there too. Loved the stay
