Siderbhan Homestay

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful 100-acre estate in Chikmagalur. The private waterfall was a total highlight — my daughter and I had a blast! Peaceful, serene, and just what we needed. Mornings on the terrace with estate views were perfect. My daughter was engaged with so many indoor board games. Big thanks to Ryan, the warm and welcoming host — now a friend. Can’t wait to come back with the whole family !

I went here for a weekend with my family. The estate is huge, and we ended up not venturing outside at all, enjoying the hikes on the plantation, games of badminton and other indoor games, and relaxing with books. The rooms are clean, the caretaker Mr Prithvi was friendly and accommodating of our requests. The coffee was excellent as were the home cooked meals. Ryan was a wonderful host, always making sure we were comfortable. Would definitely want to revisit.

Excellent location surrounded by mountains & coffee estate. Water bodies inside the property were cherries on the cake. Ryan is a perfect host! delicious food and coffee from the estate was served during our stay. Highly recommended for a weekend stay if you want to escape from the hustle & bustle of the city.

We had a memorable time in siderban. The unique part of the stay is its location and the presence of ryan at the property. Ryan ensures we get a walk in the woods and he has maintained this beautiful estate with coffee and pepper. The mini waterfalls and stream just adds to the charm of the place. I will suggest everyone who wants to take a break from the city rat race to head to this place to unwind oneself. Ryan even arranged for the bon fire which made it all the more special. The mist in the night and the silence around adds to the beauty of the place. Early mornings are filled with birds chirping and insect sounds. Bhadra wildlife sanctuary is barely 7 mins ride from this property. Must say the food served by santosh and anita makes the trip fulfilling. There are plenty of books in the property if one loves to read. All in all we had a memorable trip to unwind in chikmagalur.

Stay was very pleasant. Got to play in rain and roam around in the estate. Simple yet tasty lunch dinner and breakfast. It's a beautiful place to stay. Simple yet tasty food. Campfire was very nice!

It has been an unforgettable experience to stay in a grand vintage estate. Host ryan was fantastic and made sure we are comfortable. For anyone looking for a peaceful, serene stay in the lap of nature should definitely go for it. I had a wonderful time painting landscapes, exploring the beautiful estate with pretty waterfalls & fort & reading from the vast library that ryan has maintained so well! )

We had a pleasant and peaceful experience. Home stay manager santosh was quite a nice guy and arranged what was needed. It is a must visit place for the ones who needs a peaceful and calm weekend. Food was also quite good.

A 100+ year old estate with 3 running streams, a couple of small waterfalls, and an excellent host, this is one of the best stays i've ever been at. The host's collection of books ranging from comic books to sci-fi adds a cherry on the top. Sitting on the terrace of the bungalow surrounded by the majestic oak trees and coffee plantation while sipping the estate coffee and reading a book is a therapeutic experience in itself.

Had a very peaceful stay, there was born fire, scenic beauty, the estate has own stream and plantation, the attendants were very helpful.

Great property location and there is a river stream and mini waterfall in the estate. The host ryan is super friendly and will make sure you have a cozy stay at the estate. Ryan also arranged a bonfire at the night and made the evening most memorable one with live music.

This is quaint old bunglow nestled right in the middle of a plantation. Amazing food, old world charm and an excellent host to top it all. The property has its own stream, waterfalls, and an amazing trail for lea-surely long walks !

Host ryan was good in welcoming us and great-ed us very well. Stay was good and enjoyed the most. We had got separate cottage which is near by the cottage. Would recommend for everyone. Enjoyed the estate and a small falls, fort and river stream.

The stay is located in a nice deep green place. Water streams follow by in the estate. Calm atmosphere. Food and the quantity is average. Starters are charged extra and heavily priced be careful of that, I was not informed of that in advance. Carry your own barbeque stand for starters in the evening.

Nice pleasant stay, finding the property is bit difficult if you don't follow instructions given by the owner. Owners and caretakers are very courteous and welcoming. Food is also good. However the food is not prepared at the property owners must find a way to prepare food at the property. However the location of the property is awesome.

We had a great time staying here. Host Ryan and the staffs were very friendly. Had a great time in the water stream that runs inside the estate. Will definitely visit again
