Review: Shree Ganesha Palace Hotel, Varanasi While Shree Ganesha Palace enjoys a prime location near the ghats and Kashi Vishwanath Temple, my overall experience was mixed. 🔹 Location: Undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest asset. It’s centrally situated, making it easy to explore the spiritual and cultural heart of Varanasi on foot. 🔹 Staff & Service: The hotel staff were courteous and responsive throughout my stay. Their professionalism and warm behavior added a touch of comfort. 🔹 Room Size: Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely compact, with barely any space to move around. This made the stay feel cramped and less relaxing. 🔹 Food & Dining: The in-house restaurant is overpriced, and the quality of food does not justify the cost. I had to resort to ordering from outside, which was inconvenient given the limited delivery options in the area. 🔹 Transportation: I would strongly advise against booking any transport through the hotel. The rates quoted were exorbitant compared to local alternatives. Overall, while the location and staff are commendable, the hotel falls short on value for money due to its overpriced amenities and limited comfort. Suitable for short stays if location is your top priority, but not ideal for those seeking space, convenience, or budget-friendly.

After my stay, I would say "Pleasant Stay". All features match as displayed while booking. Well received and hospitality met our expectations. Except for transportation arrangements due to traffic restrictions car has to stop about 3KM to hotel. From there peddle rikshaw is the only option. Amenities too met the expectation, all rooms including bathroom were hygene. Hotel is located very close to temple and ghat below 1KM. Guidance from the staff was very supportive and 24hrs house keeping service available. Finally, love to stay if I ever visit kashi.

The stay was comfortable overall, but the food was overpriced and did not meet expectations in terms of quality. Many items on the menu were frequently unavailable, and the room service could be quite slow at times.

I booked 2 rooms at the hotel for my family. The stay was very pleasant, my kids and parents felt very comfortable. The temple is at a walking distance from the hotel with multiple options to taste authentic food. Overall I was very satisfied with the stay

It's is a nice place to stay. Rooms are well furnished. Staffs are helping. Food also good. Property location aslo very good. Walkable distance from mandir.

Stay at this hotel is pleasant, however it’s first impression is not so good ( entrance and building) but the interior and room is spot on . Their services are like a 4-5 ⭐ hotel and front desk manager was very cooperative . I would to visit again and every famous place is just 10 min walk . Location of this hotel is remarkable.

Good and comfortable. Parking was not feasible here due to restrictions due to traffic management. A managed parking lot is available 300-400m away from the hotel. The staff was courteous. The room and facilities were clean and functioning. The hotel is approximately 600-700m away from the main temple.

Location was very good just 200 meters from ghat and vishwanath temple. Staffs were very good for any type of assistance. They have a in house travel desk as well which is quite helpful but abit costly than outside. They arrange Ganga Aarti for the guests and one staff ( Mr. Santosh) was assigned completely for us during the aarti. From hotel to ghat and back he helped us for every thing. Overall a nice stay. Only thing to mention that the taste of the food can be improved.

Just like any other hotel in this area. Room size is small . Food is good in in-house restaurant. Service is just about average , staff pays no heed to customer’s need.But at present biggest issue is entry access to this Hotel, due to ropeway construction you can’t access by car to this hotel. We can still manage the other all this but the way I have been tortured by their management for the Room invoice was horrible. Did a mistake by trusting the Reception manager at the time of check-in and after continuous follow they took almost 10-12 days to send my bill .

People working here are very nice, they great vwry well . Although there restaurant need to work on taste other then that stay here is heart worming.
