Serenity Villa

Ambience is good,well maintained. But the thing is food is not available in homestay. Bringing food outside will raise our expenses. Suggestion is , there is already a kitchen available in homestay, please appoint a good chef and ensure to serve local cuisine. Else atleast permit the guests to cook by themselves with certain rules and regulations. It will improve your homestay standard and also the guests may love to visit the property again in future.

The place i were staying is simply kollam ! we are 3 members ( family) booked but at the tym we came, there is a short circuit prblm but the host was really helpful he arranged a optional villa bf r the tym we reach, which is view point villa in mela arapatta. Actually that villa is much better than the booked villa. If u want view with budget friendly villa, go for it. It is polio simply, we really enjoyed it

Great place to stay surrounded by tea estate and reachable distance to almost major sights/spots. The care taker was also nice. He made us comfortable by providing extra food and drinks. Over all a great experience.

It was a great stay. There is a person there named raju who works there who is very kind and makes really good tea. I would recommend to try tea. Place is near and clean 24x7 hot water to bath

There were drunkards in the property who were friends of the caretaker. And the caretaker was not even responding to our calls when we needed him. We were supposed to get a welcome drink which we didn't get. And people were knocking at our doors asking for availability of rooms.

Cons: 1. The property name on mm t is wrong - in reality and on google maps its actually "serenity" which made it difficult for us to find it. 2. The host was unreachable for nearly 1-2 hours as we were trying to find the place. Once we got there it took another 30-min for the caretaker to come. 3. The room has little to no natural light. 4. Once the other guests arrived (10pm) the place was too noisy - and all through the morning the chatter and the noise continued. A bad value for money place, only suitable for a late night stay for an early morning checkout, on the way elsewhere. A classic example of owner living elsewhere, a caretaker (who couldn't care much) having to take care of guests. The only good part is that it is in a quiet location with an amazing tea plantation to walk around.

location was pretty good. Tea estates are near to resort and chembra peak is near to the resort.

The stay was really good, and care taker arch-it has made arrangements very well. Food is prepared as per our requirement. Bit far from meppadi, but if you tell the care taker he will make the food arrangements. Overall it's a pleasant stay
