I recently stayed at this dormitory in Gwalior and had a mixed experience. The room was cozy, albeit small, and the washroom was clean and well-maintained. However, the reception area being too close to the rooms was a bit of a drawback. The noise from the reception area made it uncomfortable to relax in the room. One major issue I faced was that the dormitory isn't yet updated on Google Maps, which made finding it and booking cabs or ordering food a bit of a challenge. Additionally, I was surprised to see a significant markup from the online booking price. The dormitory was advertised at per day, but with taxes and additional charges, the final cost came out to be. Booking online didn't quite work in my favor in terms of pricing transparency. On the downside, when I requested a blanket, I was offered a used one, with the staff assuring me it was fine because the previous guest had only used it for a day. This raised some hygiene concerns. Overall, the dormitory has potential, but a few tweaks. With some improvements, this could be a great place to stay in Gwalior.
