Royal Park Hotel

The property has very short length cot and bed, even 5. 5ft person can't sleep comfortably, for the rate the quote. There was no hot water available on this harsh winter, 22nd jean 2025 that we stayed, on constant request also they did not provide even bucket hot water, we thought it would be technical issues, so asked for it, they have taken it for granted, they have high rating, just because of the location, but need to take care of these basics as well

Stay was good, one problem i faced was bed was smaller for me. Hotel has nice outdoor siting area. Food was good (veg. But little expensive.

Hotel is at height-ed place which makes it good for the view and food was also good in quality and quantity. Rooms were small but ok for 2. Tv should have tv remote as well instated of only setup box remote.

All in all a good property for staying

As we are paying in advance according to the reputation of company, the basics should be provided, like water tabs in bathroom towel filtered water, please check once

Unreasonably overvalued property with a lack of even basic amenities in a room. It was a terrible stay & when we asked to change the room, the hotel staff denied it since it was booked.

Only food service are good and food staff behavior is friendly.

Location is good. But room hygiene is bad. Blankets are dirty. As per make my trip our check in time is 12. 00pm, but as per hitel, it's 2. 00pm, hence rooms are not ready.

We had booked 2 rooms. One room allotted to us was okay and other had multiple issues from nonfunctional heaters and showers and the room had to be switched thrice in our 2 day stay. The hotel wasn't prepared for full occupancy and was mostly short on resources. The location is amazing with great views of the meadows covered in snow. The food was always great and better than a few restaurants we ate outside the hotel.

The hotel is very good when it comes to cleanliness, rooms and heating (just what you need in winter gulmarg weather. The view from the lobby is great, you see all of gulmarg however the room did not have a view. Also, it's around 2km from the gondola point and 1. 5km from the ski point. Doesn't sound much but the snowy roads make it very difficult to walk. The atv driver ask for 600-800 per person to drive you for that distance and sledges (not a fan ) ask for 400-500, same for taxi. We walked couple times, took a taxi, atv, sledge - combo of everything at different times. The restaurant staff is very attentive. Reception / housekeeping calls are seldom received - you need to go down to talk most of the times. The best part was heating - very well heated hotel. All stars for the heating, restaurant and interiors of the hotel )
