Gulmarg Sahara Hotel

it was very good stay in gulmarg sahara , room was excellent with all bed heating installation with geaser facility also. Dinner quality was not good & no test, breakfast was good.

Great location, nice rooms, good heater, perfect space, nice restaurant

The hotel is not worth for the money you paid. Negative points: 1. Rooms are small very basic 2. Room heater is small won’t be sufficient in winter 3. I booked room with breakfast which they charged 1 k extra per day which is completely not worth positive points 1. Hotel is near to gondola you can walk from there 2. Cook is good and food is also good

I would like to Thank the Sahara hotel Manager Jahangir for your welcome and your smile 😊 The entire staff is professional and very caring, helpful. Rooms are clean with modern furniture and with all amenities you may need. The bed was King size and very comfortable to sleep. The overall room view is pleasant. Enjoy the hill view with snow covered.

Rooms were fine food was not good

The property is in the main market. So very well connected to all the things. It's a wooden hotel. It does not have central heating system however there are heating blankets on your bed which is more than sufficient for your night sleep. They have in-house restaurants which serves scrumptious and freshly made food. We ate non-vegetarian food and it was amazing. The staff & the manager is courteous and always there to help you. We are looking forward to stay here for our next visit to gulmarg.

There was a staff in the hotel, he came in the room with out knocking the door. And i recommend everyone to buy water bottle from outside because the price of 1ltr. Water bottle was 30- in the hotel, and outside price 20. And the staff service is poor but room is good for family stay.

Bad hotel. There are no facilities here.

It was terrible stay, old furniture, stinky bed, stinky room, poor response from owner. No value for money at all. Pictures given were different from real one.

My stay was very good as my home

Nice view. Wooden cottage only drawback is noise. We can hear what people saying in next room or walking in corridor.

Close to gulmarg taxi stand. Stayed one night with my family in may'22. Hotel staff didn't appear to be warm & hospitable. Prices are also bit high than its, facilities.

My stay was very good. First things first, the owner of the hotel mr. Jahangir is a gem of a person. He went overboard to help me & my family. He arranged cab to & fro to airport, arranged guide at hotel, & also there was some server issues with the j&k bank, he helped me with digital payments. Hotel is decent with good heating arrangements as the temperature dropped in night to -10c. Food was good & decently priced & all the staff was soft spoken & helpful

Hotel has no privacy no heaters, no privacy, room is not clean if you are travel-ling in winter it's o % recommended

Location and food was good. Manager jahangir and staff including roof were courteous.

Electric bedding was not working. Warm water supply was not continous. Smelly washroom.

In seasonal time of you are not getting any good hotel then this one is ok, staff are hardworking
