Unprofessional and rude host. Forced early checkout with no reasonable explanation. Poor customer service. Wasted time and ruined vacation plans. I strongly advise against booking this property and recommend that potential visitors to Mukteshwar seek accommodation elsewhere to avoid similar unpleasant experiences. We had an extremely disappointing experience at this property in Mukteshwar. Here’s a detailed account of what happened: Booking Issues We booked this property on 6th June 2024 at 4:05 PM. Shortly after booking, we received a call from Mr, the host, who informed us that we needed to vacate the property by 6-7 AM on 7th June because it was booked for another guest on that date. Communication Problems Considering the early checkout time and the fact that we were traveling with three small children, we requested Mr. to allow us to check out at a more reasonable hour. Instead of understanding our predicament, Mr. became rude and uncooperative. He told us to cancel our booking if we didn’t agree to his terms, despite us having already paid. Poor Customer Service We then reached out customer care multiple times, speaking with different executives each time. Unfortunately, none of them could offer a solution to our problem. We wasted approximately four hours on the phone, stranded on the roads of Mukteshwar, trying to resolve this issue. Overall Experience This entire ordeal significantly ruined our holiday. Not only did we lose a day of our vacation, but our families, especially the children, suffered greatly due to the inconvenience and lack of proper communication and support from both the property host and customer care.

The homestay is very beautiful and the caretaker is very friendly. It's a very nice place to visit away from city hustle.

The location was very peaceful and calm. It was our wonderful trip with my family. Hill's and mountain's views were visible from our room. The room was so spacious and comfortable. The staffs were mannered and helpful. Must recommend the property to others.

I would definitely recommend fellow travelers for stay in Abode in Heaven. When I was planning for stay in Mukteshwar narrowed on 3 options and from that after seeing reviews from previous guest I finally confirmed on Abode in Heaven and I was very happy and my family with my stay in here. Right from check-in to checkout we had very good experience and didn't face any issue at all. In the apartment, you have very good caretaker his name is Kesar, he is very good person and very good cook and he is available at all time, when you call him are having any issues he will readily help with smile on his face. Property is located in very peaceful place and serene. You get to see very good views of Himalayas from the apartment and if you can wake up early morning and go to Zero point, you can get clear views of Himalayas and you will be amazed from the views of mountain when you see. You will have to tell your food priorities beforehand to Kesar and he will manage for you and make it ready what time you say. I have very good experience and memories here and I will definitely be back for my next holidays here without any second thought. Fellow travelers just try the place when you are planning for stay in Mukteshwar and you will be very happy and won't go wrong.

I can recommend that property for the small family as the don't have more bed. Rest everything was very good. The food provided was delicious also the staff service was fabulous. Security had no issue.

Best cottage in Mukteshwar. Location is very peaceful and the cottage is very beautiful. It has two floors and can occupy up to 12 people maximum including kids. Care taker and chef Kesar makes delicious food and treats the guests very well. He lives near the cottage and is always reachable. Must visit.

One of the best and amazing stay of my life. I am a regular traveler and stayed at resorts and hotels all across the world. For the 1st time, I booked home stay in India. I was bit reluctant initially however after reading reviews, I booked this place. As name suggest, this cottage is actually heavenly stay. Superb location, breathtaking valley view. It gives you 270 degree view of mountains from all rooms and living rooms. Spacious 2 BHK and 2 living room with 2 balconies. Having open kitchenette with all necessary utensils. Kids and parents had gala time with indoor games available there. Everything was available and we couldn't ask for anything more. Comfortable beds and spacious living room having leather sofas and clean washrooms and games. They had provision of projector with screen for movie. There were two caretaker Kesar with Amar. While Kesar gives you all the comfort as whole in-charge of the place, Amar does all house keeping jobs. We loved delicious food cooked by Kesar. He went extra mile by preparing separate meal for parents . At 11 PM, Kesar served us hot parathas. He took care of every small need of ours. In fact they accompanied us for tracking. Manish started interaction with us from the booking time. He guided for every dos and don'ts and took personal interest that we reach there safely. After check-in, he called up 5 times in 3 days to check with us. Though he is not professional but I am yet to see such manager in any Star Chain hotel who can give such comfort to guests. He even helped us to find the correct way all across till Lucknow while returning back. Probably this holiday and stay would be remembered by all of us for much longer time. How can one forget sipping hot tea sitting in balcony overlooking snow peaks. If you are looking for holidays for rejuvenate your self and family, this is must go place.
