River near Coorg was value for money and experienced top class service and in house food. The resort was amidst pepper and coffee plantations and provided a peaceful stay with nature. The harangi river runs nearby. The resort made sure your stay was comfortable and enjoyable inspite of the rainy weather.

The experience was amazing, I felt I'm so close to nature. The cold breeze, breath taking view, gush of the streams was awesome The room was also spacious, and the service was too good. The people were so kind and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at The River Near Coorg Rooms and Restaurant. Nestled in the middle of a lush coffee estate, this hidden gem offers stunning river-view rooms that are clean, well-maintained, and truly peaceful. The property is about 17 km from Madikeri, making it a quiet retreat away from the usual tourist buzz. The food here was delicious and felt like home-cooked meals. Just remember to place your order at least an hour in advance, as everything is freshly prepared. The quantity is generous, and pricing is much more affordable than what you'd find in Madikeri town. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality. The host and the team made us feel like we were staying at a relative’s home – relaxed, welcomed, and well taken care of. It’s a very laid-back and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. Do note that if you need alcohol or cigarettes, you’ll have to bring your own. But with the natural surroundings, the calm river, and the fresh estate air – you might not even miss them. If you're looking to disconnect and soak in the beauty of nature, this is definitely a great place to stay. Highly recommended for couples, families, or solo travelers seeking peace and simplicity.

Excellent location.. courteous staff.. well maintained room and inside coffee estate. it would have been great if few children friendly amenities there. but no complaints. All of us Enjoyed a lot

These people are fraud people. I lost my 3 gold rings, these so called caretaker took my rings and telling lies and he is saying he dint know who is gong in and out after we checked out. Pathetic people. Dnt trust this people. I wil not recommend this hotel

The location is around 30 minutes away from the centre of the town, but the roads towards the resort was incredibly fun to drive. The resort manager was friendly, and the food was really tasty! there is also a place near the resort to go boating for rs. 100 per head. The place overall is very calm and relaxing.

Resort is very beautiful. It is a river side resort. In morning time view is very excellent. Food cost also affordable and taste is good. But tv is not working. That is a only drawback. Otherwise good.

The place doesnt look as its been described, the room is full of cockroaches, spiders. The stay doesnt have proper maintenance and it was a worst experience. It has been mentioned river view and there is nothing like that. Terrible experience
