many thanks to mmt. our booked homestay in kolakham was just excellent. host of homestay was too good to explain. homestay in rishyap was average. food was not up to the mark, we suffered from water scarcity there, food was costly. though the host was good.. kolakham👇. rishyap👇

Very poor service! Most third class hotel. Even Rishap avg. Temparature 8 to 10 degree whereas water geyser haven't there even this hotel totally outside of Rishap. So kindly don't book this hotel... This is the most bad experience ever

Location poor, damage road, moderate view, good sunlight, poor water supply, no geyser, low voltage electricity, food quality is not upto the mark and costly but owners behaviour is good. Nearest kanchanjangha view point is tiffindara is about 2. 5 km. Apart. 18. 12. 22

Room is full of insect, no hot water service, food was ok but expensive. You will get leech, caterpillar crawling on the room floor. There was no sufficient water in the bathroom.

The lodge is nice ln terms of view and serenity.

If you heading from lava, don't climb the trail from 9th mile. Instead head straight for another 10 kms till 6th mile and climb via sonar bangla area. This is much easier trail to climb. Otherwise location is beautiful.

Lovely experience of staying in the hotel at Foshol, good behavior and nice scenery of the nature from the hotel.

The room, including the food was very good. View was great. Though the whole place is quite isolated. It is little difficult for people who have breathing problem as it is situated in very high area. There is nothing to do after sunset. So plan accordingly.

In one word marvelous. Site was so peaceful and clam.

You can organise a bonfire at night, if you want to then you just have to inform the manager and he will do the rest, and you can also make chicken kebabs by roasting chicken on the bonfire, you need to pay extra for that. Food is completely hygienic and home made quality. The management tries to help you with everything they can.

Floor carpet need to change. Toilet air passes through the room. You have to flush several times or use bucketful water. A little bit unhygienic. Plumbing problem. Sunrise is visible from the rooms.
