Vishram Village is a peaceful spot by the Varkala backwaters. It's incredibly quiet and calm—a true escape from noise. Most of the place is open spaces and gardens, giving a natural feel. The rooms are simple, with no TV or work desk, but they're clean and comfy, which is nice. You might not spend much time in the rooms because the outdoor areas are where the real charm lies. Food is homemade and tasty, made with love by Pushparaj and his wife. They treat you like family. There's also a friendly dog named Naala who mostly chases treats and won't bother you much, except for being a cute distraction. The backwater deck is serene. We enjoyed relaxing there, reading and doing nothing. It's a 15-minute drive to Varkala's attractions, so having your transport is helpful. They have parking space available. They offer kayak and boating services, although we didn't try these. In short, Vishram Village is a quiet retreat close to nature. It's simple, cozy, and a perfect spot for peace and quiet.

I would say we made the best decision to book our stay in Vishram Village. Budget friendly with 5 star experience! 🤩 The rooms and cottages are spacious and clean. The entire property is surrounded by lush green gardens and trees bordering a pretty and serene lake, where you can sit and relax. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful who made our stay extra pleasant and comfortable, kudos to them!🥰 While it is slightly away from tourist spots and the beach, the front desk arranges for auto rickshaws and car at any moment, so traveling is convenient. There are facilities like kayaking, boating, spa and massage within the premises. I would definitely recommend anyone who visits Varkala and wants a peaceful stay away from the hustle bustle, should definitely stay here!

The stay isn't located where the action is going on (which is something i like. The staff over here are very good to deal with and helpful, the location too is right near the backwaters which is the cherry on the top for me. The rooms are very clean, the bathroom too.

The resort seems to be so pleasant and clean. Very recommended for the pleasant stay. Food is good and people respond with the ease.

Excellent property. Away from crowd near the nature. If you really want to taste kerala food this is the best place. Hats off to mr and mars chefff. Thanks a lot

The resort is filled with green and blue. It's a kind of nature's place with a beautiful lakeview. The staff are very gentle and polite. Food was excellent and the rooms are very clean. Overall a peaceful and calm experience.
