The caretaker was really good. The food was awesome and was totally homemade. But little far from main market but you will find provision for vehicles. Outside views of K2 was mesmerizing. We enjoyed it.

Breathtaking views

We had a short comfortable stay 1 night friendly hosts. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and the balcony afforded a breathtaking view of the snow capped kanchenjunga peaks at a distance and darjeeling town spread out below in the valley. It is just nearby from the mall road and we mostly walked though it is not an easy walk. Would take you about couple of minutes and some stretches are uphill. Though walking distance from ava gallery, its a very steep climb back to the road so not for the faint hearted. It was great hearing about the local customs from a knowledgeable host. They have rules around late nights and alcohol as it is a family set up.

The overall stay was extremely. Satisfied as the staff and owner hospitality was really up to the mark. The things which I expected I received more and I will recommend this property to my family members. Even though the food and the hygienic part was totally up to the mark.

It is a very nice place to stay in Darjeeling. It just 2 - 3 minutes walking distance from Ava art gallery and have a very good mountain view.
