Palette - Dayal Lodge - A Boutique Hotel

If you’re planning to visit Agra, do yourself a favor and skip this hotel entirely. From the moment I checked in, it was a nightmare. On Day 1, the AC in my room wasn’t working—in peak summer! When I raised the issue, the staff bizarrely claimed that there’s only one AC remote for the entire hotel, which they keep with themselves. Yes, you read that right—one remote for all rooms. Despite booking an AC room, I had to spend the entire night sweating it out. Finally, they changed my room at 5:00 AM—only after repeated complaints. But that’s not the end of the horror show. When I asked the night manager for help, he casually said, “I’m new here, I don’t know anything.” Very reassuring, right? On Day 2, when they moved me to the new room, I specifically asked for fresh bedsheets and clean towels. Instead, the staff blatantly reused the same dirty bedsheet and towel from the previous guest. Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic. The entire experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and downright unacceptable. Poor service, filthy practices, and zero accountability. This place doesn’t deserve even 1 star. Save yourself the stress—don’t even consider this place.

According to the lodge, they provide air conditioning for six months and hot water (via geyser) for the other six months, which we find difficult to understand. We had booked two rooms—one for ourselves and one for our senior citizen parents who specifically require hot water—but our request was unfortunately denied. Yes hotel staffs are too greedy they were asking tip for all orders & each times .Fan are very sounding in room , wifi is not working there . All Talp are blocked due to non clean for a long time ..wrost experience of stay in agra.

It couldn’t have been worse! We confirmed that if late check in at 1 AM is allowed or not and then booked, but spending even a night there was nightmare. The attendent took half an hour just to take details, acting as slow as possible. Next we reached room and denied straight no for extra mattresses, even when we paid for it. Now the room was full of mosquitos and when asked for a coil or Mortein, we were denied rudely again. Now coming to the morning, geyser was not working, no soap or handwash, when asked, again a NO! We had to leave without bath. Only think on point was their timing as they appeared at exact 10:30 asking why aren’t we checking out. This was the behaviour with an older lady and her two daughters. We can’t even think how they will treat bachelors. Sleeping in a guest house will be better rather than booking this so called “BOUTIQUE HOTEL”

During booking the hotel, the photographs of the room is very classy and good, want to enjoy the room in first sight, but after booking the same room and visiting the room, the picture turn different, they show a very dirty and water seepage on the walls, then compulsion to upgrade the room to super deluxe, rest is all ok and good, the upgraded room is very nice and big room, food is good but they must offer complementary breakfast in this amount for single person,

Cleaning was good and also staff behaviours were also fine but the problem was tv not working as i also complained regarding that to staff.

amazing room and amazing hospitality and food was awesome and if you are going with your vehicle so there is no need to worry about parking huge area they have. if you are going with your partner so this is the best place you looking for.

The room facilities mentioned during booking were actually not functional/not available. Like washroom tapes are too tough to operate, tv not working properly, geyser connections cut off. Room size ok but facilities matter. Recommended to stay for a night during emergency only with such issues.

So many hidden charges and no proper method to track what we ordered in room service. unnecessary service charges and even a bill of food which we never ordered was added to our bills. The staff was although polite but lacked speed in resolving issues. We literally had to wait half an hour at the reception to get our final bills issue resolved. Rooms: 3/5 were Ok (not good as compared to the price being charged) Food: 3.5/5 Way too costly with average taste Service: 3/5

Worst service ever ac was not working properly there was no water in flush no room service available food was also not good at all

Better but tv performance is poor have no channels no reacharge and no commands neat staff have waiting for services

Room amenities were good and staff were very supportive but the kitchen service needs to be improved
