The property was poorly maintained and highly unhygienic. There were street dogs roaming in the property, and the room quality was very bad.

The MTDC are playing a great role for the tourists people by having such sea view properties.The property was so excellent,neat and clean. Hygiene maitain . Food quality was awesome staff was also co-opertaive and supportive. Best of luck for the future to MTDC and have a great success.

The location is stunning—right next to the beach, surrounded by lush greenery, with charming huts spread across the property. It’s quiet, spacious, and perfect for unwinding. However, the service could use a bit more attention. WiFi in the rooms was patchy at best, and surprisingly, there was no coffee or tea provided. Small things, but they do matter when you’re hoping for a seamless stay. Still, if you’re looking for natural beauty and a serene vibe, this place has plenty to offer.

Coral restaurant unacceptable treatment No good taste. The breakfast items has no choice. During our say. Some politicians visited the place and for them they made huge sabudana khichadi. Everyone in the service of the politician governments officials , police. Sub staff. Driver, karyakarta. All were served with the sabudana khichadi,in the coral restaurant but for the guest of the resort. They can offer the same evening snacks onion and potato bhaji भजी. Same option every evening....when asked that could we get the khichadi option today. . when the coral restaurant is for the mtdc resort and mtdc resort guests are kept deprived and given ONLY BHAJI OPTION. THE WORSE WAY TO TREAT THE MTDC RESORT GUEST. WHO ARE PAYING FOR THE STAY AND THE SNACKS😫. When it is raining heavily outside, where are the guest supposed to go searching for the snacks when the restaurant only offer as unhealthy as option bhaji everyday for snacks. The MTDC management need to seriously need to review the restaurant. Dogs and cats keep coming to the restaurant. Doesn't feel good when those dogs keep coming hoping for the food.

Location is great but the upkeep is pathetic.. service is terrible, food is not good. Typical govt service at display.

I use tonalways wonder why MTDC properties are always over booked much before the calendar months. So this time, when I searched for MTDC tarkarli, the availability was seen. Hence I did not want to miss the opportunity. The first thought was, I am travelling in off season, hence could book it. The property was good. Matches the vibes of the konkan. The room that we booked was a sea facing view. I have not had this privilege earlier to have a room with a sea view and so close. The sea was few meters away, and the waves had high current obviously monsoons. Initt had booked for 1 night, and then extended to a premium sea facing view. It is worth every penny. For those experiencing a beach and a forest vibe, MTDC tarkarli is a must go place. The cost was value priced and inclusive breakfast with 3 different menu options plus tea. Thankyou for this experience. Will definitely come back again with my family.

The room was good, Food was oka, but there were no activities, not even indoor games like TT and Carrom. not properly maintained. They haven't provided the rooms which we booked. It's just nature, that gives you a vibe, otherwise the resort doesn't put any effort to make it better. My advice is not to plan your stay here. Waste of Money. "We had an amazing stay at MTDC Tarkarli Hotel! The climate was perfect - cool breeze, lush greens, and the monsoon magic. As dog lovers, we appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the breakfast spread was a wonderful surprise - authentic Konkani style! Ekdam mast! Overall, we highly recommend MTDC Tarkarli Hotel for a relaxing getaway. Can't wait to visit again!

That said, the overall vibe of the place remains relaxing and pleasant. The food is still a strong point, especially the breakfast and evening snacks, which you can enjoy while gazing out at the serene beach. The peaceful atmosphere and scenic surroundings make it an ideal getaway for anyone looking to relax by the sea. With a bit more attention to upkeep, MTDC Tarkarli can easily regain its earlier charm.
