MTDC Kunkeshwar

The property Location is good and the property layout and feel is good. But it is not maintained at all. Major drawback we found is lack of food service to room since the property is big. the rooms and toilets are big size but not clean.

Amazing location right in front of the beach with Kunakeshwar temple view. Rooms are in mango orchards. We stayed in Garden View and it was good enough for three persons. Food at the canteen is delicious and authentic konkani cuisine. Do try their fish thalis, Prawns Masala and Ghavan Chutney. The canteen offers a breathtaking view of the sea.

Stay was Nice. rooms are clean, surrounded campus covered with lush green. Food also very nice ..

Our stay at MTDC Kunkeshwar was extremely disappointing. The property is not well maintained — the AC indoor unit kept spitting out water, making the room uncomfortable. Service was poor and unresponsive, and there were no decent breakfast options available. To make things worse, we had to skip dinner because the hotel didn’t have any proper dining options, and the nearest restaurants were too far to drive. The entire place gave us bad vibes, and we were just counting the hours until we could check out. Definitely not recommended.

Property very close to beach. Sea view room, sunset view also excellent. Independent cottages. Excellent konkani food. Very nice pathways, plantation, swimming pool.

Very good location and view. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. however there was a powercut for few hours

It was pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The food served was delicious, adding to the overall experience. A good choice for a relaxed and hassle-free stay in

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Kunkeshwar MTDC. The rooms were not properly maintained and had a bad smell. Towels were not changed daily, and overall cleanliness inside the rooms as well as in the surrounding property was poor. The common areas were also not maintained well. Additionally, there were many frogs and insects around the doors, which made the stay uncomfortable. MTDC properties are usually known for good standards, but this particular experience fell far below expectations. I hope the management takes immediate steps to improve the cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the property.

Location is fantastic and very close to Kunkeshwar Temple, however, the maintenance of the property is below average and breakfast is pathetic.

The location is excellent , the food is healthy home made food , and the services are basic . own vehicle is essential,

Family vacation at the property. Sea view room was nicely located with vehicle parking just outside the room. Sea view was reasonable. Swimming pool location is fantastic but was dirty. Food at the restaurant is good at reasonable price. Overall property lacks cleanliness and maintainence.

@Mtdc kunkneshwar Overall Experience was good food stay and service all... But @ mtdc velneshwar experience was too bad No electricity power whole night sleep without fan overall experience was horrible

Property is located at scenic location of Kunkeshwar Beach. I have chosen option of sea view room. So I have view of beach. Interior of the room is average and old style. Room service is not available as it is a resort with independent villas/unit. Food quality is also average. Location is near Kunkeshwar (Shiva) temple.

It's nice place and well maintained

We had a very disappointing stay at this resort. Firstly, the toilet in our room was not provided at all upon arrival, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the balcony was in poor condition, with broken railings that posed a serious safety risk, especially for children. This lack of maintenance is concerning and shows negligence toward guest safety. On top of that, the washroom that was eventually available was not properly cleaned. It felt unhygienic and unwelcoming. For a place that advertises comfort and relaxation, this was far from it. Definitely not recommended for families or anyone expecting basic standards of cleanliness and safety.

Food is excellent. Location is excellent. Facilities are good. Staff is cooperative

hotel have limited resources hence food is issue here. even breakfast was complimentary still have poha and sadha dosa local calls it amboli as limited breakfast.. on top of it even for bread butter or jam you have to pay it separately.. dont know what kind of breakfast complimentary process is this.. hospitality is nothing to do with this resort. since after breakfast i have to collect my plate and keep it to there corner by my self. terrible experience and nothing can be expected

The room is nice and spacious. The air conditioning works very well providing relief from the summer. Location of the resort is good especially if you are visiting for the Kunkeshwar temple. If planning for and evening darshan you can even walk it down. Beach is absolutely close and at a walking distance. Breakfast at the cafeteria is good and well managed by the staff there. All in all is a very comfortable stay and good value for money! Loved the fact that the staff especially was willing to provide hot ghavan chutney on day two! Keep it up!!!!

It’s good location nice sea view food was very tasty rooms are spacious but need to be maintained as interior have become little old specially for bathroom else rest all things were good nice calm place to stay staff was very helpful

Except seaview from room, nothing was up to the expectations compared to the prices of room rent. Food was ok. No room service, they serve very less/limited dishes. Bathroom wasn't even cleaned. However this is the best resort in the locality.
