Modis Hotel

We had come from Pune to Kalka for a trip to shimla via toy train. Stayed at Modis hotel and we had a very good experience. The staff are quiet friendly and supportive, they provided complimentary drop to the railway station from the hotel free of charge.

Stay is comfortable and nice. the staff people here are friendly and also got quick response when we needed. Rooms are spacious and got at budget friendly , totally recommend who are visiting, best stay in kalka. 1km close to railway station and bus station. Appreciate the help and info, reception staff provided. Thanks!!

check in did not take place as the hotel has i formed non acceptance of the booking the previous night itself & same was communicated to you too by them as well as by me thru response to your mail advising booking confirmation. Please arrange ge refund immediately.

i book suite but they gave me delax room, staff non coprative, no service, i never ever book this type third class hotel again stupid staff and stupid owner also, use less hote

The rooms were clean but the blankets felt a bit old and could use a refresh and the food was delicious

Location is very good, waking distance from railway station. Property is on main road with parking

1. Staff not cooperative 2. Lizard & Cockroach found in Room. 3. Water not coming properly in the bathroom. 4. Room was durty & not hygiene & many more issue

Very bad smell room, old structure and furniture. Old ac, staff are not good to show their good behavior to customer. They are working as their management direction. Food quality very poor and making food for money purpose. One onion parota and either tea is their breakfast items for almost 3700- room. Breakfast service not good, their are dealing as money of customer for buying purpose only, one glass limca price is 40. I am very surprise. Overall my experience is very poor. I suggested, not book due to above reasons.

Nice hotel near kalka railway station. A lot of parking space and staff are very polite & helpful. Food room service available.

The property is good for overnight stay. Rooms are spacious with special feature of extended bed. Only problem we faced it rooms were little smelly. But the staff was good and helpful.

None of the rooms have hand jets in the toilets. A huge let down. Neither is there anyone available to clean the room at 10 pm because everyone left at 6pm. Rude staff. Avoid if possible. Not at all worth 3k which they charge for the rooms

Staff is cooperative, very polite behavior of every single staff including receptionist, managers, kitchen staff & house keeping staff, room is good atmosphere is superb with no noise

There is no hospitality in this hotel. From entry to exit. There is booked super delux but change room. Due to tv ng. In second room no bathroom items. Today till 8. 15 am booked complementry breakfast. No choice, no readyness. There is no value of customer time
