Very good ambience and management and staff. Comfortable stay, room and bathroom are neat. Food is also good.

Perfect homestay for couples. 100% safety. Food is awesome. Well cleaned and maintained. The head treated us in a pleasant way. Home cooked food will make you to remember this place.

We stayed here for 31st night, when we reached property the room was two floors up with narrow stairs. We had to carry our luggage, the host helped with 1 bag though. The room was clean, spacious and had great views and the host was nice to talk too. I had called ahead to ask about 31st night dinner and was told that i have to inform in afternoon during check in. However, on property i was asked to arrange for food myself, understandably the host needed a break for new years. I wish we had known earlier to be better prepared. They helped with local suggestions. I also called ahead to confirm a boat ride next morning but then was told that i never confirmed. Luckily other guests were okay with sharing the same boat that i had booked in advance, the costing was not shared 50% though.

The home stay was nice; the hosts are very courteous and the property is well maintained and clean. It faces the lake which is very beautiful. Parking is also good

They arranged a boat ride at affordable rate. The food served was also good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience there in meenakshi river villa. And it is family-friendly

It was a good stay with my family. The location was very peaceful and calm. The room was also so cozy and spacious. The staff was also so very humble and cooperative. The property was suitable for everyone. Must recommend the property to others.

When you are coming to Kumarakom stay only in a resort. Don't stay in a home stay like Meenakshi. There is nothing to do in Kumarakom, the facilities in a resort will keep you busy when you are not doing boating in Bembenad lake. Meenakshi has just bare rooms, no recreational facility, no kitchen. There are many resorts and many of them are in similar budget as Meenakshi. There is only one thing to do outside your place of stay i.e. boating. So you need activities at your place of stay especially if you are travelling with children. There is no market where you can roam around, there are no places to see but yes the boating in Bembenad lake is a wonderful experience.

Peaceful, central, and very neat and cleanly maintained. The host are ever ready to help, we went in trouble with car keys being left inside car and the owner helped us till the time we were able to retrieve the keys. The Homestay is just near to bird century and back water boarding points.

It's a home stay villa which gives value for money. Hosts are very courteous and give prompt service. Google guided perfectly except for the last few 100 meters. It's located close (5mts walk)to the entrance of Bird Sanctuary in a quiet locality by the lakeside. 2 of its 3 rooms on the first floor face the waterway. Clean spacious air-conditioned rooms were very comforting. We checked in late at night. Morning you can wake up at 6 and visit the bird sanctuary. It's an exhilarating walk through the forest up to the two observatory towers. After returning, you can have breakfast of your choice prepared by the hosts who live on the ground floor. We found the food great. After breakfast, a boat came to pick us up right at the doorstep. We had a wonderful time moving across the village through narrow waterways and Vembanad lake. The hosts also have a premium house boat of their own which offers day /overnight trip. Overall a value for money experience.

This is a homestay kind of accommodation. The host was very helpful and they have a house boat as well which you can book separately and enjoy. Very neat and clean. Only suggestion is that the extra bet could be been better. An ideal place to relax with family.
