Maison Raja Serviced Apartments

I was a solo traveller and didn't use much of the place for the 1bhk given, but the location and landmarks are all near and very helpful for first time visitors like me to pondicherry.

I stayed at mason raja for 2 days. The place was good, it is located in the middle of the city and everything is nearby from the place. The place is located in residential area so i thought it was quite safe.

On the positive note, it's very cost effective i got it in ~11k for 4 nights, a 2bhk. It's located in white town, near to all the famous cafes, 600-700 meter from rock beach and aurobindo ashram. So many bike rental at walking distance. Early check-in allowed and wasn't charged extra. Security guy was very helpful and understood hindi quite good. Ro water was available on ground floor so you don't have to pay extra for water bottle. On the other hand rooms were average. Only one common washroom was available. Only one room had ac (although we didn't even need it due to good weather condition) but other room adjacent to washroom was not packed. There was a big window between room and as soon as someone switch on light in washroom there was enough lights in room as well. Shower wasn't working. Towel provided only on first day of check-in. No cleaning was done in 4 days, no bedsheets changed.

Location is good. Beaches, restaurant, pubs are nearby. Rooms were clean, supporting staff.

Overall and average stay. The kitchen utensils were useless. Ok if you are traveling with a group and do not use kitchen, it is for namesake. Fridge was really in bad condition so were utensils.

The rooms are very clean. Distance are not problem.

It was a pleasant stay at a very affordable cost. The owner was very helpful and non intrusive. Would highly recommend

Went diving in pondy, discovered this place that is i the middle of town with cheap rooms but very functional.

Near to french town and beach. A bang for buck spent
