A very comfortable stay, all amenities were provided like bed heater, warm drinking water, water geyser in bathroom also the rooms were clean and the entire home was decorated aesthetically. View from the stay was very pleasant and mesmerizing. Owner was very polite and always available for any type of need, she also recommended and described in detail all the places and scenic beauties in darjeeling, discussed the local cultures which was personally very interesting being a travel enthusiast, overall a very much home like experience. Car booking is provided from the home stay as per standard rates. Rooms : clean & all type of amenities were there. Nearby activities : stay is near to batasia loop and shared taxi was available for 30- per person to darjeeling mall road. Food & drinks : meals are provided in the homestay which is very good and billed separately.

This was my first trip to Darjeeling and what made it more special was my stay at Irish home. It is located away from all the noises and crowd. You can enjoy a peaceful evening after all your travelling with the best tea made by one of the best hosts. Anju aunty and Anjul uncle were really humble, helpful throughout the trip, they never made me feel away from home. Can't wait to visit them again. Plus point is, you don't have to go to Batista Point, you'll get a beautiful view of can changing from there terrace, view that I can not describe in words.

This is the perfect place if you are looking for a home away from home. The location is hardly 12–15 minutes from the main town of Darjeeling. The room, food, and hospitality are amazing. The host/owner (madam) knows the place very well, and she will guide you for sight-seeing if required and will arrange transportation as well. We had a wonderful time here. If we visit Darjeeling again, Irish Homestay is definitely one of the reasons for it.

What a gem of a homestay, had a wonderful stay there and so i highly recommend it. The checkin and checkout was so smooth and good, allowed early check in :) the view from the Irish Homestay was so serene with mountain and hill view. the hospitality of the Irish Homestay owner and the staff was exceptional.
