Hotel shivani resort mandu is an excellent property located at a central place. The hotel has a restaurant with great ambiance and serves good food.

Room was good but hygiene was not maintained. No phone for calling reception, no slippers in the bathroom. Window of bathroom was broken. Cannot get bill printed because of bad printer. Food was also not very good, it was ok only. People were drinking in the garden.

Bedsheet, bathroom was not at all hygienic. Webs were there in bathroom. No hot water in taps. Also tap was leaking.

The hotel has make shift reception, poorly furnished restaurant, with poor menu. We were in deluxe room worth more than 6000- per day, which did not have cable connection, no hot water in toilet, no toiletries except for a soap, towels were provided at night, there was no mirror in the bathroom, no electric cattle or coffee maker in the room, morning tea had to be paid for, no glasses to drink water, water was provided after asking, of course. Next day morning i had to pay for pathetic breakfast i had, after spending more than 6k in the lousy hotel. Please don't mistake this for a prejudiced review.

The resort was not clean and was dirty. While we understand that there can be few hiccups, cobwebs in resort is not acceptable. The lobby area leading to room was also not well maintained. It was littered with plastic and empty water bottles

Place is good but lack in simple services like providing 2 towels and a water bottle. If you are taking this much money. The services are of negligible cost!

I was forced to check out the same day due to terrible sanitation and personal hygiene of staff. Request not to pay any amount to. Property and refund whole amount to me immediately

Location is in main city area, food quality is good, specially dam paniya, we enjoyed a lot, hygiene was good.

They refused to acknowledge that breakfast was included in my package. I had to pay for the one breakfast which we took.

The hotel was good and staff was ok, but the place is awesome. Again I like to visit the hotel, very nice and spacious.

We had booked a large room to accommodate the family. On the day before the arrival, the proprietor called us and informed that “there is a marriage near the hotel and since it would disturb us, he has got us a room in a different property”. The “different property” had a very small room and bathroom, no cupboards either. The extra bed we requested was just a 3 inch foam. No cot was provided either. One of us slept on the floor. We learnt later that “Mandu Festival” related bookings are on and we suspect that the room was sold at a higher price. We were short changed. The service at the new property was good, but the property had its own constraints. Did not really make up for the booking we had. We felt cheated.

It was a marriage/function type property having some rooms too. 3-4 people present there were totally unprofessional and untrained. They didn't have a water filter, no WiFi, no intercom, we paid for one day. We had to buy packaged drinking water from outside. They have a restaurant 50 meters away across the road. Bathroom was not clean. Bedsheets were not clean. Totally unpleasant stay and waste of money.

Large and clean rooms - initially was smelly a bit though. They lacked professionalism in service. The washroom was large but ordinary. There is a scope for improvement in service. Tariff was low hence over all it was giving value for money.

The Shivani Hotel in Mandu is not Worth for staying. I would say that cleanliness level was way too low than a railway platform. Bedsheet was very much dirty. Not a good room service. Food was brought from another restaurant.

Room was not clean. Overall, property was also not clean. It's not at all a resort so don't go by the name. It does not have a restaurant within hotel so no room service available. We had booked room for 3 people and followed up with reception 4 times for extra bed, every time so-called manager mentioned that person will come but no one came and we had to manage and accommodate in one mattress only. There is no standard reception of hotel, on entry a person sits with a table called reception. Staff is not professional. Only good part was the size of room. Finally got towels and soap after 4 times in person follow up. When room was allotted to us one used towel was hanging in the bathroom. Complete zero professionalism. It is just a better version of Dharmshala or c grade hotel. My experience is for a luxury room, which is claimed by the hotelier one of the best and costliest room in his hotel.
