Well maintain Hotel, Proprietor and staff are friendly and attentive. Food is good. The road facing rooms are better as the windows of the rooms at the back face a wall and are not as well ventilated. Better to book through Make My Trip as the hotel is not very responsive on the phone to queries such as cancellation policy.

Really spacious clean rooms with excellent service. The dinner they prepared at night at 930 pm was great. They had courtesy to check with me on dinner knowing i might be reaching late and prepared hot delicious dinner just at right time after i settled in. The family owned property was an awesome place for stopover

Being a budget hotel Expectations were low But the Hotel River View delivered more than a high quality stay . Very clean rooms , bathroom equally clean . Quick prompt and friendly service . Highly recommended for trekkers getting in and out of Rohru !

Solo traveler on a trek

As a solo traveler I stayed in Hotel River view booked online for one night. It's a budget hotel and my room was a at the back side with no natural light and the room size was small. Also some light fittings were not working. The male property owner was rude and was not keen to entertain food request.

It’s decent stay, just a little of maintenance is required. The room looked cleaner at first but the bed-sheet and blanket were dirty. Had a good meal at the in-house restaurant. Good location as a resting point for any treks as well.
