Hotel Marigold

The location of the hotel is very close to the main MG marg and Lal Bazar, the hotel balcony had an amazing view of the valley. Hotel staff were very cooperative and helpful and the food was also nice.

1. The location is good. 2. Room quality average, old rooms and not yet renovated. 3. Use of stairs will be tough for aged and children and knee patients. 4. Food quality is average but the rate is too high. 5. The manager of the hotel is good but doesn't get any facilities like cab hire, taxi booking from him. Go to the nearest taxi stand and book as you like. 6. Other boys are good at that hotel. 7. The quality of the bathroom is not in a good condition. Old and dirty also. 8. You may face hot water problems every moment. Geysers are not running properly. 9. Room rent is also high from other properties of that area. 10. Be careful before booking

The rooms are smelly and damp. So are the bathrooms. The only best thing is the location. The hotel is well located in the heart of the city, close to all prime locations. You need to climb at least 2 storey to reach the rooms. Bit tough for the aged.

Horrible Hotel. Very sticky rooms. Smells like hell. All bed sheets towels were very dirty. Rooms very dirty. Staff were not at all co operative. Dont go there you will fall sick. Make my trip should delete such hotels from their list.

The rooms were not clean and stinky too. Not so spacious. Food was fairly average. Bedsheets were also very dirty. There were spider house all over the room.

Nice experience in Gangtok this Hotel is good.

The rooms are small and smells damp. No proper ventilation. Washrooms are very small. I wouldn't suggest this hotel even though it's a budget hotel.

During our six night stay in mid june, 2019 we have great experience with logical support and services. Unique was the cordial nature and behavior of staff who supported to manage our tour packages with acceptable comfort of money and taxi service.

Staff is good but facility is not good.

Very poor up keeping of room, broken mirror, intercom not working, WiFi not working in room, very poor, only positive staff is helpful and location is good. I will never stay in future.

During this staff behavior was not good they ignored many times for any assistance and room was so dirty.

Filthy hotel, bad staff behavior. Even fan not working. Ant infested room. When I complained regarding the fan, the manager said that fans are for decoration purpose. Even the bed sheet and pillow covers were dirty.

Horrible room total leakage and dirty smell. Bed only 5-6 people. No two people can stand in the room. No chairs, No place to keep luggage. Toilet very dirty lots of insects in the toilet.

Geyser was not working after complaining they repaired it. No wifi No umbrella No services for tour or traveling.

Rooms are very dirty and full of smell. Dustbin was full, staff and owner is rude and their behavior with guest was very bad. I have not seen this type of bad hotel ever. I don't suggest this hotel for stay.
