Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC)

Tucked away amidst towering paula dears, the Bhagsu, is a peaceful little Hotel with nothing to offer except warm spacious rooms and an equally warm staff. Very close to the main square and the namgyaal monastery and Dalai lama temple as well as a bustling albeit highly commercial market place. The incessant honking by the ubiquitous taxis throughout the Town is a big put down. Try the Namgyal cafe, Tibet kitchen and the German bakery for local and North Indian fare. The yak cafe near the Bhagsu was our go to place for coffee and dessert. The Kalchakra temple bang in the middle of the market is hard to miss and is a visual treat. I would definitely choose the Bhagsu again for the lovely location and the warm staff.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Bhagsu. The Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC) is conveniently located close to the main market area, and the Dalai Lama temple. It has ample parking space and pretty big grounds too, where I am sure in summers it would be lovely to hang out. The food as is the case with all HPTDC Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC)s is homely and delicious. Variety may be limited but it's of top-notch quality. The staff is friendly, and well attuned to the needs of the guests. One of the best places to stay in McLeod.

The property is located very close to the market and Dalai lama temple. There are good food options at Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC) as well as the market outside the Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC). We got prompt service at the time of check-in as well as room service. Checkout was also very smooth.

Service is exceptional- prompt and courteous. Hotel rooms are neat and has a good valley view. Parking is unlimited unlike the other fancier Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC)s which have limited car park. The Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC) manager and his team do a great job. Bathroom is very clean.

The rooms were fine, cleanliness and room service was good. Disappointing was the repetitive breakfast and the food served on the new year's eve party. They should try to improve their kitchen, for variety and taste. The staff was congenial and service was prompt.

The location isn't hard to find. Roadside with parking available and a lush garden to sit and enjoy the zephyr. Staff was friendly and disciplined. We didn't order anything from the restaurant. And company also matters.

Clean room, excellent view from room and cafeteria( room no. 204,205,206 has nice view. TV in proper working condition with all the channels. Room Heater + Geyser in working condition. Tasty Food (price - bit High).

The Hotel is clean and in a peaceful area. Ambience is good.

It was a very pleasant stay at Hotel Bhagsu, we stayed for 3 days. The staff is excellent and the food at Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC) is amazing. 5/5 on all aspects.

We spent 3 days at Bhagsu Hotel Bhagsu, Mcleodganj (HPTDC), nice rooms with hot water supply and room heater. Food was also good. Staff was polite and friendly.
