Hotel Gouri Palace

Even after conformation they did not accept that, they said there was no booking and also no room vacancy

It was a horrible experience staying there. No geyser, no proper room service, no room facilities and amenities provided as was displayed while booking the hotel. Further, i felt cheated since i had booked and paid for an extra bed but to my surprise they didn't have any facility of extra bed

First the Receptionist refused that there is no booking in my name and no rooms are available. I show them my booking details still he said, he can't do anything as there is not a single room available with them. Then I called MMT helpline, after conversation with mmt personnel The hotel gave us 2 non A/C rooms. The rooms were very congested, ventilation was very poor. The price I paid was ₹ for 2 rooms. The room quality was not even for ₹1000.00. I m not at all satisfied.

The rooms were very dirty. You can even find a pegion with two eggs in your toilet. Toilet is also very dirty and unhygenic. The taps are broken. Hospitality is not very good. We have to wait for 40 mins for a cup of tea. Whatever food we have asked for they were unable to provide us. Will not recommend for stay untill and unless you don't have any other options left in puri for stay.

Bad behaviour, non cooperative, tv display on wall for show off not useable, poor service my tour program was for 6days but left this hotel and stay in other hotel on beach side which was cheaper then it and we'll clean, good behaviour and cooperative staff i left my room on 7th july morning and return back in evening to collect my laggage, he offer-rd me to use washroom for fresh and taking bath

I had a wonderful experience at gouri palace. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the staffs are all great. Even the services provided was amazing and very cooperative. This is the second time stay for me in this hotel as this hotel is very pocket friendly but frankly saying previously when i stayed i was not at all satisfied with the service but this time it was great. Later i came to know that the property is owned by a new owner and yes it is appreciated how the owner and his staffs are managing now. So guys i would suggest not to go with the older reviews and visit this property once you will love it and you will feel like home.

A great budget hotel with all the necessary services. Its just 1 min walk from beach. Do visit for an excellent experience.

The staffs are not responsive. They didn't changed the bedsheet. They didn't even provide water bottle. The service was not good. The room was dirty and the washroom was are also dirty. The Hotel is safe and secured. I will not recommend this property to others. Overall it was an ok stay.

Its all about 2 mints distance from Sea Beach, and from Station 5 KM. Room fully decorated. Peaceful area. There staffs behavior also so good. Overall its good.
