Hotel forest View

Location & food good . Looking forward to better discount on next visit --wash room utility needs improvement like gyser faucet etc

The toilet is not clean. Tap is leaking. No toilet paper. A big spider coming out of the bed.

The room was not good and there was no heating devices in the room the doors of the room doesn’t close properly

Hospitality of the hotel is very poor. Called on phone for some food but the receiver there was very rude.

The stay at the hotel was good. Rooms do need a little more attention regards hot kettle for tea/coffee n cleanliness which is a normal requirement. Food was good and service boys were very cordial. The hotel is very ideally located.

Rooms were pathetic and extra ordinary below then normal standard. Staffs at counter were not proper behaved. Morning breakfast were so poor quality and only 2-3 varieties were available. Pros: the location is excellent. The famous gondola ride is just 5 min walking from the hotel. Also they provide 10 percent discount coupan on these rides. Other famous location is also nearer to the hotel premises. You can get direct buses from outside the hotel for udhampur bus stand from where you can reach katra in nominal fare (70+50= rs 120 good pictures can be clicked here as the hotel is totally surrounded by forest cover. Cons: service isn't upto the mark. Bedsheets was not clean. Extra bisleri bottles were not provided. Food is costly better go outside the hotel & get the lunch/dinner done.

Rooms were spacious and clean. View is beautiful. No buffet breakfast only few items. Otherwise it was a good experience

I stayed in standard rooms with room number 406 and 407. Overall experience was ok, staff was ok, but the room's landline phone was not working in 406. Hence made all the room service orders from 407 phone. The price could had been much lower as per the condition of room.

Every hotel in patnitop was providing a bonfire in the evening. But forest view didn't have it. Or they're charging a high price. Also the rooms were just above average. However the staff was good.

The standard rooms are horrible. They were not clean. The beds were not made properly. It looked as if someone had just used the room and gave it to us. The staff is also not that great. When we asked for an extra bed they just came in with the bed and did not arrange it for us. We had to tell them to make the bed. Overall property is nice but the rooms are a total flop. The wifi doesn't work despite telling them that it's not working and because of 100s of wifi networks it doesn't connect properly
