Hotel Chanakya

IN THE ROOM, THERE IS ONE TYPE OF SMELL. FOOD IS NOT AVAILABLE. LOCATION IS GOOD. MAINLY RECEPTION STAFF BEHAVIOUR IS NOT GOOD.

Property is centrally located. Cleanliness is very good. Since it has no Restaurant of its own the guest has to manage food from outside. However there are good numbers of Restourant’s nearby it. What I did not like about the hotel is that we had rebooked the room with full payment and our night bus service dropped us at Nandyal at 7am reached hotel at 7:30amWe asked about availability of room was empty. But they denied us to check in and asked us to wait till 12:00pm. Since the room was empty we requested/persuaded to allow us to check in with extra payment for early check in. But the staff at front desk was so adament and refused to do so. We were made to wait for 4 hours at the lobby of the hotel allowed to check in at 11am. Beside the hospitality and behaviour of staff towards the guest, the hotel is good.

service was very late and bad ambience was good but even for water we waited for 30 min other than service everything is good

the recieving and the receptionist talking was not satisfied poor service and the Price range is too much

Very good. I am happy as I have not expected a Hotel of that standard in a newly formed district Headquarters. The management is courtious. If they maintain the said standard and relationships with tourists the Hotel Chanakya is likely to become a sought-after Hotel. Thanks to make my trip also.

"The manager's behavior was very bad. I had booked for two days, but after one day they told me to check out. When I said I had booked for two days and showed them the proof, they finally agreed. The next day, 30 minutes before the check-out time, they called again and told me to vacate. The people there are completely nonsensical and unprofessional. And there's a ₹300 difference between the hotel's actual bill .

it was great.staffs were nice. good location. but original rates were so less . best to call them directly and make a reservation.

New renovated rooms with good connectivity. Opposite to bus stand. Near to veg hotel hotel savita very good food with hyphen and clean all variety nort and south indian food

It was nice location to stay with family. And very clean and neat they provided high branded interior in the rooms. Love that hotel. Finally.

This turned out to be a nightmare! We booked 2 rooms based on the ratings. One room was fine but the flush wasn't working in the other room. The maintenance guy instead of admitting that there was a problem, thought we are idiots and started telling nonsense like it takes lot if time for the toilet to refill for the next flush. Of course, it doesn't flush even after waiting for 5 minutes. He ran out of excuses and was forced to give us a different room. Given this experience, one would think that they check and make sure that the flush is working, but sadly this one doesn't work either!! After about half an hour of trying, they moved us to yet another room. Thankfully the flush was working but there was no A/C. In the morning, flush gave problems again. There were women and children and moved the room 2 times (3 rooms). When we complained, the guy was telling, with a straight face, with no hint of apology that "we moved you to a different room and we did the best we can. We can't do anything more!!!". Then we spoke to the owner and he promised that he will return the money for that room, which of course he never did. Never again to this hotel.

We stayed for only one night in a deluxe room. Stay was comfortable and the hotel was decent enough.

I stayed 1 night with family. Room is just ok. Bed sheets were not clean. Not even water bottle provided. From evening time there is a bar and restaurant which makes u feel very uncomfort. I had to book room on urgency and no other rooms were available. Better to avoid if u go with family. No food available but many options are there around. The only advantage is that hotel is on the main road and easy to locate.

There was a lot of cigarette smell coming from the room. When you visit a hotel it is so bad. The washrooms are also not clean enough to use properly. Surroundings were too bad where lot of wastage was put there.
