Himalayan Magpie | Lake View

An absolutely splendid stay experience. Our entire stay over the weekend was above expectation. So here's my detailed review: location: very close to bhimtal lake and situated over a hill with a direct view of the lake from every rooms. Rooms: rooms are very big, clean with almost all basic comfort amenities such as kettle, almira. All rooms have very big balconies for enjoying the outside view. Washrooms are big and clean. Food and service: good fresh homely food was available round the clock. Room service was available all the time. Full marks to the staff for their courteousness and responsiveness. The owner of this property is a lovely couple who take care of their guests with great warmth. Overall an above expectation experience at this property as there is lot of calm, peace at this place where you can enjoy with your family, kids partner. Small disclaimer for aged people as homestay is situated at a specific height where cars cannot go so it might get a little hectic for old aged people to walk up there. However the owners have said that this problem will also be curbed in coming months. Otherwise a highly recommended place if visiting bhimtal and around. Ps: homestay is value for money as you get a Himalayan Magpie | Lake View like facility and experience in homestay rates.

The property is located at about 1 km walking distance from the bhimtal lake. It has reserved car parking and from there you need to trek 300 -400 metres to reach the property as it is located uphill. Not recommended for elders. The rooms are spacious and has attached balcony with a view of the bhimtal lake and the surrounding greenary. The host vinay kumar is a friendly guy and will personally look into all the arrangements for you. It also has kitchen where you get all the items though i didn't order here. You can trek down and get many food options nearby. I preferred walking to bhimtal lake and having lunch and dinner there.

Overall the Home Stay location was prominent as from the balcony we can see Bhimtal Lake.Only little challenge is the Himalayan Magpie | Lake View is on the height & way is quite challenging.Food & Hospitality is great.

Stay was nice and I enjoyed 2 days in himalayan magpie The good thing is they have ample space of parking and the view outside window is mesmerising.... Love to stay scond time

stay was good , quiet and nice needs better water heater, water pressure is low … if for elderly folks , they may find a bit of difficulty in getting to the Himalayan Magpie | Lake View fr the vehicle parking area …
