Halligadde Homestay

Stay was not so good, location of the property was not at all good, far away from the main City. Cleanliness, facilities, rooms were not at all up to the mark, room service was not available, the property was not secured, food was not up to mark, taste and quality were not so good, the host needs to focus on the improvement of the property. The property is not ideal and recommendable for family.

The location of the property was very convenient. The surroundings were very peaceful. The staffs were very courteous and well behaved. Overall it was a wonderful stay and this is the highly recommended property to others.

Owner shared is a very nice guy, but I hope this review will improve the homestay services. Pros: (1)Good homely food. (2)Peaceful locality and homegrown coffee. Cons: (1)Needs major maintenance, Indian style toilets. (2)Very mediocre bedsheets and pillows. (3)Room's door is pretty old, should be replaced. (4)Approach road is not great, homestay owner can't do anything about it. Overall- If the homestay undergoes at least some maintenance, it will be my go-to place every time. But for now, I'm going ahead with just 2 stars. At the paid amount you need good basic facilities.

It's in a good location, remote and far interior. But the problem with this kind of homestays is if you go alone or with 1 or 2 friends and there's a big group other than you who wants to put loud music and dance at midnight, it is annoying after a long journey if you just want to take rest. I saw this happen with other homestays also. Don't know why these people come and do this in homestays they could have gone to some pub in Bangalore if they came to just drink and shout. About the homestay, it's good looking but the rooms are old, beds and toilets are clean but old and doesn't justify the money for two people. If not for the drunken people I would not have been that unhappy and would have rated this as 4.

The location was good. The caretaker was very helpful and caring. The room was very nice and beautiful. The interior was amazing and the room was very neat and tidy. I got all the facilities that I needed. It was the best property.

For any one who wanted to experience the nature the silence then this the appropriate place. The owner sharath and family was very courteous. If they improve little more facility in the room we will not mind staying again.

Service is good. Food is good. But room is not properly cleaned. Some spiders and some small insects are there in the room. If it is maintained more hygienic it would be better. The approach road of 1 km near home-stay is bad.

It is calm and serene place with nature around. The food served is tasty ... Sharath and his wife very helpful in each and every aspect. Arranged campfire ... Coffee served was really good. Hospitality of the hosts is the major highlight. Room was cozy
