Firstly, they were not aware of our prepaid booking through mmt, then they did not informed us about their services time limit, and lastly they did not provide us the cutlery for our dinner that we somehow managed. Not at all happy with this booking, and will not refer to anyone.

The light is not working, tv remote not having battery, no proper care and attaindance for guest for water or anything.

1)i forgot to include one child while booking rooms, basically if the child can be adjusted to stay in the big family room, where 2 queen beds are provided, the homestay owner should not have any problem, but he was really behaving very rude and not cordial to guests at all. 2) the owner had been repeatedly saying that he can't allow one extra person, it's against the rule of homestay, whereas in that homestay we only stayed in night to sleep, rest of the time we were outside the room and didn't even use basic amenities of the homestay, we didn't even have food available in the homestay, for that also we had to eat outside. I don't understand what rule was bothering him so much to allow an extra person in big family room, but he was demanding 1000 rs. More for allowing the extra person in that big family room. 3) no water had been provided, we had to arrange it on our own from outside. 4) people go out there to roam outside, not just stay in hotel, so closing the gate at 9 pm is absolutely nonsense. 5)one toilet in the family room was very dirty, not cleaned, and stinky all the time. More importantly even after letting them know about it, it was not cleaned. 6)let alone cordial and guest friendly attitude towards us, the owner was behaving very rude right from the beginning. 7)the only good thing about the homestay is it's location is right beside happy valley homestay, which gives splendid view of happy valley tea garden from the room's balcony. Otherwise it is very long distant from the mall rd where most of the people actually spends time.

The host was very friendly and kind if you ever visit darjeeling you won't regret taking this hotel the view from the balcony was spectacular.

In terms of location and price the hotel was nice. Room was nice too. But it could have been a little more hygienic. Unwashed towels and bedsheets were given. Also there was no attendent to look after the castomer needs.

We are soo. Happy to stay. Excellent service. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown.
