Golden Inn ,Dankuni

It was an absolutely horrendous experience for us. 1. The person at the reception counter had no clue about our booking. He didn’t have our rooms ready. He made us wait for 30 minutes and then gave us room numbers 207 and 210. 2. ⁠We were totally disgusted when we entered the room. It was smelly, bed sheets were dirty, there was water in bathroom. 3. ⁠That man at reception point blank refused to do anything about it when we complained. Take it or leave it was his attitude. 4. ⁠It was impossible for us to stay in that dump of garbage and we requested him to arrange a taxi for us and he again refused saying that no taxi was available. 5. ⁠We left the hotel immediately after that and arranged a taxi on our own. 6. ⁠It’s impossible to believe that you booked this joke of a hotel for us without even checking its suitability.

1. Had a very bad experience within the room. No extra blankets even whenever had a one days pure booking. Used soap in the bathroom and the western pot was not cleaned, with cracked bathtub. Charged extra 1200 for breakfast and was only served 3 slices of bread without omlette. For premium room the service was not at all acceptable. The worst hotels next to stations provided better service than this place. The golden inn's employed not ready to accept their mistakes. Very adamant that they gave the best service and when challenges they guy kept fighting back that it's not not his problem it's ours.

Stay location food and cleanses are very poor

Stayed there for a day. Asked them to spray some room spray but they did not have any. The toilet was dirty

Very poor service, my experience bad. Please updated the customer relation. I have booking online but he said extra payment and avail the room. (2500). Worst hotel experience. I have booked the top most room available in the hotel but the room and service given by them are too bad. When I have gone to take Bath shower water stop in between my Bath. I have to change thrice time my room in two days booking. Neither intercom work nor they provide food in morning and the food provided by them quality is two bad. Location is in remote area no public transportation is available there. Thus, in my opinion I will suggest never try to stay in this hotel.

I was not able to check in due to location wrongly showed on makemytrip app. It shows me 990m from esplanade Kolkata, when I reached esplanade the cap driver told me its 25km far from the location. It was not my fault but when I try to contact the hotel number they were not at all responding to my call. I call makemytrip customer and help me to talk with the hotel management team but they were not at all ready to refund at least half of my amount

The hotel was shown to be 2km from the babughat bus stop on MMT. But on reaching the given address, no hotel named golden inn was found. I gave 6-7 phone calls but no one picked. Ridiculous! Finally when they picked, they said it is 30km from babughat. I didn't have time and I'd to book an entirely different hotel room. Give the right address, if you know it. I wonder if it's a hotel or a scam!

Not very good but not bad also. Room looks on net was looking nice but in real very changed look. I sugesst to all that don't paid advance payment for hotel. Pay your pay ment in hotel before see the room.

The location of the hotel as shown in the app was supposed to be in the heart of the city, Kolkata but it was in fact around 25 km away from that location. It was really shocking and disappointing to be in a hinterland away from the city. The reception staff was also not supportive. Non AC rooms were like heater with direct sunlight attacking the rooms. I would not recommend it to family tourists.
