Gokulam Residency

The hotel is OK but the staff needs better training. The bathroom in room 101 was very strange, the shower has no ledge/upstand to contain the water. the shower water overflows into the entire bathroom... Under the sink, all Around the WC. And the water doesn't even drain off. The water was still on the floor half an hour after the shower. Breakfast is basic and again no staff trained well enough. The breakfast is a la carte. I asked for cut fruits and Dosa and Chai... They brought everything all At once. If I eat the fruits, the Dosa goes cold. Again no personal touch of asking if I needed anything else etc. All in all, The staff communication is poor, they don't even ask how was the stay or any issues?

very nice and spacious rooms and bathrooms. it's right in the middle of the town with good access to commercial spaces.

Lack of professional staff, provided a single bath towel for 2 adults and 2 kids!

Hotel is good, but food / restuarant is not at all good. In the name of buffet they have only tea and dosa items and that too, only one item we have to order. Don't even given second cup of coffee.

Limited breakfast option. I stayed for one night with breakfast as free. Unfortunately they asked me to pay for breakfast when i order for one plain dosa in the middle of i am eating. It's make me feel insulted. They said they are allowed to serve only one plate dosa as free of cost. If it is a rule they supposed to tell me before start my breakfast.

The rooms had distinct smell. Otherwise was ok. The staff was helpful. Communication was chaotic as i don't speak malyalum.

Good ambience. Comfortable stay and nice service by the staff.

Actually we had booked in this hotel but we had received hotel picnic.
