Down da Village Resort

I recently booked Down The Village, Goa through MakeMyTrip, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The property did not provide even the basic facilities that were clearly mentioned at the time of booking. I was promised hot water, two double beds, and a working TV, but none of these were provided on arrival. The room given to us was in very poor condition, and to make matters worse, it had insects, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unhygienic. Despite multiple reminders, the staff did not take any action to resolve these issues. The absence of hot water was especially frustrating, as it is a basic requirement for any guest. Additionally, getting a single small bed instead of the two double beds was extremely inconvenient. The TV was also not in working condition, even though it was listed as an included amenity while booking. Overall, my stay at this property was far below expectations, and it felt like the facilities shown online were completely wrong. I am highly disappointed with the service, cleanliness, and lack of responsibility from the hotel staff. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Goa.

The room was clean but the toilet flush was not working

my arrival at this property was terrible, the staff did not provide us with the promised rooms on arrival. it was a very poor experience and when the staff had no option they provided us different rooms . This property has no water supply facility , no phone connection to the reception. i will not recommend anyone to stay at this resort until the staff improves their services

I’m disappointed with my stay. The room had insects, there was no TV, and no hot water throughout the stay. The overall cleanliness and basic facilities were not as expected. This was not a comfortable experience at all. I hope the property improves these issues urgently. I am very disappoint from now I will never book hotels, I have very worst experience, customer care also not giving proper response, they told me they will solve the issue, but customer service didn't solve this issue

The room was good and worth the money which I was sent and there is no food in the property location also good facilities ok not good not bad.

I appreciate preplanned accommodation if not they charge more and more, make my trip skipped me for all those nonsense things in Goa, many scammers is there in Goa, everything scamming in Goa like Cab, food, Accommodation to avoid the nonsense preplanned is the solution.

The hotel was very poor rooms and not cleanliness at all. Also swimming pool was very disgusting and disappointing. The room was not cleanliness at all.

My stay was very pleasant. All the staff were very nice and polite. The food is also tasty and at reasonable prices

Not give Hot Water And Watar Botal Not Give Towel

I have booked a family suite and showed them the booking confirmation for family suite during check-in but they have alloted us a single room stating that the family suite price is more than what we paid and need to pay more during check-in.

hot water was not available, they didn't even provide toiletries and towels even after informing them. No food options were available as their kitchen was shut.

The service is very poor room was very dirty smells so bad worst experience
