Dera Haveli

Centrally located but in a very congested area. Nice view from the roof top. Rooms are elegantly furnished. Food very good.

The inside of the bathroom is visible from the vent which opens at the ground level of the roof. So, everything inside the bathroom can be seen from outside and there is not window to prevent this. Previous to this, we were given a room which did not have an attached bathroom. The bathroom was located across the corridor. We could not even complain as the owner did not take our calls. We had to wait more than 12 hours to shift to a room with an attached bathroom. Also, no staff wears mask, neither sanitizes or mops the room while cleaning the room. The host abhimanyu is never available at the property and is highly unhelpful in even simple matters, like providing a room with basic facilities and will keep asking to adjust for some time.

The property was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay in that property. The room was also very nice and comfortable.

It is a wonderful property in all aspects whether it was of cleanliness, security, facilities provided, location. Total value for money stay. The caretaker was good and helpful. Must recommend to others.

You are in Gwalior so I am assuming you love history as a traveller. You are in Gwalior that means you are going to visit Jai Vilas palace and Scindhia museums. The enormity, vastness, and grandeur of Schindhia family's royalty will make you speechless I am sure. Dera Haveli is none other Sardar chalk's own Haveli and Sardar Phalke was none other than Schindhia's close confidant, minister, and chief commander. When you are staying here you are being part of history. This Haveli is enormous. A part of Haveli is open for tourist as a homestay. Let me come to the review part of the room and arrangements. Though it is 150 years old Haveli but it is equipped with all modern amenities. Rooms are big, spacious, very clean and well decorated. Washrooms are spacious and clean You will get wifi, TV, minibar, access to the rooftop, your very own comfortable cozy area for dinner, breakfast or lunch in front of the room. You can relax in the vast rooftop as well where you have a direct view of the Gwalior Fort. They will serve all your food in your rooms. The most important part is the behavior of the staffs. They will make you feel at home. Very courageous, cordial, always smiling and happy to serve you. I also love the taste of the foods. I would say staying here itself is a unique experience which would be part of your tour.

It is a place for one who loves heritage properties! Location of the property is in a little bit of congested area. It's in the old market area of Gwalior. Staff was really helpful and cordial. Food was good in taste. Service was good though we shifted our room to the top floor. Room and its bathroom were very clean. Our room was not having a cable connection. But they said that it will be fixed soon.

The services were nice and it was a really beautiful stay.

It was a sudden family trip to Guwalior. Booked this hotel through online. Dera Haveli is really a nice place to stay particularly for family. They have provided the parking place too. Food was also very tasty and hygienic. The entire works have been very nicely doing by two dedicated persons. My family had really enjoyed in Dera Haveli.
