My husband decided to surprise me and planned a weekend out of the city. This was the first vacation in 8 months after our wedding. The dusty terrain did throw me off guard, as I wasn't expecting an oasis so close to Pune.
He had booked the biggest cottage, as tents were already booked in advanced. The rooms were costly and they do not provide toiletries. Cane furniture was comfortable. As far as amenities go, there was warm water in the bathroom, AC. No TV was a good option. The king size bed was comfortable. The bedsheets weren't as clean as I would have liked them to be.
Food - The owners of Camp Temgarh have a restaurant business as well. They had cooks from my native Dehradoon. North Indian cuisine was at its best. Simple chole, rajma, aloo gobhi. Non vegetarian food was also delectable. At night, a campfire was lit, that exuded warmth in the nasty winter.
Staff was good and polite. As the place is slightly away from civilization, you have to rely on what the hotel provides, or you can drive up to Lavasa, 12 km away.
The back gate of the property opened to a narrow winding path that led straight to the Mulshi river. It was refreshing to feel the icy cold water and climb trees on the banks of the river.
Makes for a good adventure.
PS: If you are a dog person, you will love the canine companions.

Visited the place on 10th june with family. Very nice place and have always been putting off because of the tents, but was pleasantly surprised. High points are tasty food, excellent facilities, they have everything for the name sake (atleast), like pool, badminton, lawn, play area, Dirt Bike, Paint Ball, Cricket ground etc. Great place if you are having 1-2 days time to spare.

The hotel is OK as I went in monsoon last July the location is ideal and the surrounding view is good. Traveled with my spouse and enjoyed my stay, the restaurant surrounding the resort is good you can get different kind of cuisine restaurant and very economically budgeted, so all the best.
