Ashoka Hotel is well located for AIIMS Gorakhpur. The breakfast was above average but it was ready only around 8 am. The room I stayed in had no window and during a power cut (no ac), the room became very stuffy. The room is also very small. Most surprisingly, the hotel did not have an iron and it was very difficult to send my clothes outside to get them pressed. The service was below average, except for Mishraji who worked enthusiastically. Other staff seem to require more training to anticipate and quickly respond to customers.

familyWe booked deluxe room for 5night almost two weeks prior but on the day of arival we were informed that there was no deluxe room available for that night, we were asked to sleep in a very low quality room which was very suffocating. Though they provided us rooms from the next day onwards, they dint refund us for the first night.
