How to Reach Sohag City

• Red Monastery: Situated at an approximate distance of 5km from the White Monastery, the Red Monastery is another masterpiece of Egyptian architecture that tourist can explore when in Sohag. The monastery dates back to the 4th century and is Coptic in nature just like the White Monastery. • Sidi Arif Mosque: Also known as Nagaa Al Dear Al Abied Al Bahri - Nagaa Hamed, ADFA, the el-'Arif Mosque dates back to the 14th century and is a primary place for Sohag people to worship.
