Air China got listed on the London and Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 15th, 2004. On August 18th, 2006, the airline got itself listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In December, 2007, it formally joined the Star Alliance, the largest airline alliance in the world. In 2010, Air China started offering combo tickets, which included domestic flight tickets and shuttle bus service to nearby cities. The attempt was the first-ever made by any Chinese airline. In August, 2004, it was appointed the airline partner of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
