i reserved, with photos of properties very nice. But not as shown. It's very dirty bed nor given hot water service properly. Even food very costly. So my rating is 1. Very bad n very quality stay. No hot water. He only provides 2 bottles water. For 5 people. Rooms are not cleaned. We took morning breakfast its very costly n quantity is very less. Over all rating out of 5 just 1

Thank you for taking out time to rate us. We know websites use beautification to post property photos thats why we send property photos right when we receive booking. Water bottles and towels provided to you were complimentary there is no where listed on our listing that we provide toiletries or water bottles. Regarding the food the portions and rates were already shown to you and you were aware of it we also had suggested if you cant afford it you can dine somewhere else. You were also provided early checkin at 8 in the morning for which you did not pay. Basic thing you have to understand at tourist places food is expensive maybe it was your first time visiting Mahabaleshwar. One advice for free if you think something is expensive dont buy it it or buy it from somewhere else.

The cottage was good. The room was clean and tidy. The owner and family treated us very nicely. We had puri bhaji for breakfast there, it was good in taste. The service was nice here.

Rooms & hotel pictures not as shown in photos. Rooms are super stinky & with too much of wet moisture on walls. Nothing satisfying in this accomodation. Even the windows were not cleaned & were full of algae on them.

The overall experience with the hotel was not great at all. The rooms were not cleaned, bathroom was dirty and stinky. No other amenities mentioned in the description were provided. I was practically ready to change to a different hotel and not care about the money. So please avoid this hotel at any circumstances.

I’m sad to hear your experience was below your expectations. As you can tell, our staff is fairly limited. Me, myself, and I would love to clean your room for you, but we checked and there’s no time for that between managing the business and guests. If you wanted the rooms to be cleaned all you needed to do was ask. As for the amenities I don't know which of them were missing and matter of fact you didn't even mention what was missing.I’m happy to hear you found other lodging to your satisfaction. I’m sure they’ll love to have you back next time you return to Mahabaleshwar. Our homestay is better suited for guests with a sense of humor and less unrealistic expectations.
