The Whey Side Homestay | Rooms & Pool

I really appreciate the great hospitality of Mr Venkat Subramanian sir, I was at the whey side farm with my wife and daughters for 2 days. We really enjoyed our stay there. Mr. Subramanian you have been very courteous and an amazing host. It was an amazing experience in the midst of a jungle with lush green surrounding hills. Homely food was a cherry on top. Thanks again 🙏.

Been here with my office colleagues. Located at a very scenic location. Best place to have me time. Homely meals easy on stomach. Please don’t have a high expectation of a high end resort. This is more of a homestay with the owner staying over there and available all the time. Rooms have a rustic look which transports back to your village. Very friendly pets in the property. Will definitely visit again with my family. ( ps. You can order starters through zomato)

Our stay at whey side homestay was good. The property is located little inside from main road. The approach road to property is not cemented, it's narrow road between the bushes, but vehicles can easily be driven. Google maps helped us reaching the property easily. The property is surrounded by hills and trees all around, very quite and calm atmosphere. There are six cottages. Cottages are big in size, one king size and queen size beds are placed in the cottage, 5-6 people can easily stay in one cottage. Hot water is available in the morning. Host and staff are good and helpful. Homemade food is provided, both veg and non veg. They have local staff for cooking and services. Staff is good and try to resolve the issues to their best efforts. Best part is despite of surrounded by greenery there are no mosquitoes. Property is clean, despite of owner having pet cats and dogs. Few things need improvement. Like swimming pool area, has remains of old chairs lying there. Bathroom flooring is not done. Overall it's good place to spend a quiet time, not much activities to do.

View, ambience, food and everything is good. Prefer for couples as ambience is cozy and surrounded by nature

Ac, geyser, tv not working. No food variety, same food served in lunch and dinner. No security in hotel compound anybody outside can enter.

Hello so we were highly disappointed as we couldn't even reach the property. There was no one answering the calls and the google map was wrong. There was road closure and we couldn't even reach the place. We were there in karjat for a wedding function and we faced big inconvenience due to the above. We didn't have a place to get dressed for the function. We had to leave at night itself and come back to mumbai. The host answered the call much later after so many calls by us. After that also we tried to call him later where again it was not being answered. Finally we told the host later to cancel our booking. We had no other choice but to return back. Kindly get the amount refunded.

It was the worst experience ever had in my life. Mm t has reviewed this hotel 4. 2 on what basis i can't understand. Hotel has only yellow lights, which was very dull and frequent power cuts without generator. Many insects and big black lizards accompanied us. Bathroom donot have flooring. Tv was provided but tatasky was not recharged. Hospitality was not given. Food was normal but same menu in lunch and dinner. But view was good. Facilities like fridge, kettle was provided.

The maintenance was not upto the mark. It was pet friendly but we couldn’t allow our dog to even step out on its own as the property has ferocious dogs. Food was good. Staff was very friendly!

It was very comfortable stay, good home made food, and very cold temperature. Cottages are larger in size and have 2 beds, best for group of 4 people
